Matthews P.O.V (finally)
I lit another cigarette knowing damn well that Abbygail would absolutely kill me if she found out that I lied about quitting. As I started to see her house I put out my cigarette and popped a piece of peppermint gum into my mouth, hoping that my breath won't reek of smoke.
I rang the doorbell waiting for Abbygail or her mother to answer the door.
" Hey Matty." It was Abbygails mother, I was kind of disappointed that it wasn't Abbygail.
" Abbs home, Kate?" Abbygails mother hated it when you called her by her last name, it absolutely infuriated her.
" Yes, right upstairs. She's quite moody today though." She sighed and did a barely noticeable eye roll. So that's where Abbygail gets most of her sass from. I walked up the stairs and directly into Abbygails room, not even thinking to knock. Where's my common sense at when I need it?
I looked around the room and saw that she was standing in front of her dresser picking out a new shirt. She turned around maybe thinking it was her mother that had just walked in. She was fucking shirtless.
" No, don't look. Turn around!" Her cheeks flushed a bright pink, almost red.
" Sorry, sorry." I quickly turned around, not wanting to make her even more embarrassed. I felt heat rush to my cheeks, great, now i'm blushing.
" You can turn around now." I could tell she took a moment to regain her confidence.
" Listen, i'm really really sorry Abbs, I didn't mean to just walk in on you like that. I should have knocked, I don't know where my common sense went. Maybe I don't have any common sense, I ask stupid questions and do stupid shit like thi-" She cut me off guard  by interlocking our lips. It took me a minute to figure out what was happening, before I knew it I was kissing back. After a few minutes she pulled back, her brows furrowed.
" Why did it taste like smoke and peppermint , were you smoking?!" oh shit, i'm officially a dead man.
