For the rest of the week I avoided Mr Hernandez as much as I could.

Finally, today's Friday, I have all the weekend for myself without him.

Arriving back at the office after a lovely lunch with Ashton, I went to my desk. Sitting down, I heard the intercom..

"Miss Anderson in my office now." Rafael instructed.

Walking towards his office, I knocked before entering.

"There's a lot of files that needs to be filed, so you'll be staying after work late" he said leaving no room for argument.

"Yes sir" I said then went back to my desk.

Five 0'clock came quickly, I pack my things then head to his office.

Walking in his office, I asked if he needed me to do anything.
He gave me a whole stack of files to arrange out.

Five hours later, I was finished, packed and ready to leave. Walking into his office, I placed the files on his desk then said tiredly, " Sir, I'll be leaving now."

He did not look up but only nod. Taking that has yes, I turned and went straight through the doors. Walking inside the elevator, I took my phone out and looked at the time.

10:55pm
That late. I thought.

Hearing the ping of the elevator I stepped through the metal glass then proceeded to walk out.

Nearing the glass doors I realise the rain was falling real hard.
Just great. I didn't even bring my umbrella.

I ran quickly trying to find some sort of shelter but I guess luck was not on my side because my shoe heal broke. Sighing, I took off the broken shoe then began walking. Hearing a noise I turned and saw a car coming.

The car slowed down beside me and windows lowering so I could see the driver. Driving was no other than Mr. Rafael Hernandez.

"How is the rain?" He asked chuckling. Rolling my eyes I continued walking while he drove slowly beside me.

"I'm glad you find it funny." I said loudly over the rain.

"Get in" he said smiling.

"No thanks I'm good."

"Get in Valentina" he commanded seriously.

Thinking for a moment, I thought about getting a ride from him and reaching home before its extremely late or continue in the rain and not having to talk to him.

I decided to go with the first option. Reluctantly, I slipped in the warm leathery seat.

After buckling up, Rafael started the car and we were on our way. I was so comfortable I didn't even realise when I fell asleep.
