Authors' Note: Snow day #2 here in Michigan!! The picture above is what we picture Makena to look like. This isn't an actress or anyone famous, so unfortunately we don't know her name. Also, just a forewarning, there is a big event that is mentioned in this chapter that will have more revealed about it later.

Later that day, Daryl and I were helping Rick come up with ideas to hold the fence up. We discussed many tactics and had yet to come up with a solution we all agreed on.

"Rick! Rick!" a voice boomed from the distance.

We all looked and saw Tyreese storming over to us, an enraged look on his face. Something was really wrong.

"Come with me. Now"  he demanded, then turned around and stormed off in the direction he came.

Rick looked at us, and followed Tyreese. Daryl looked at me and shrugged his shoulders, walking after them. I hurried to catch up, falling into step with Daryl. We were led through the tombs, following evident trails of blood. I grabbed Daryl's hand as we continued to follow the blood, he squeezed my hand, sensing my anxiety.

We went out a door, and I smelled flesh before I saw it. I released Daryl's hand when I saw two burnt bodies, smoke rising off of them. Burning flesh polluted the air, making my stomach churn.

"You found them like this?" Rick asked Tyreese, who was staring at the bodies.

"I came to see Karen...and I saw the blood on the floor. Then I smelled them. Somebody dragged them out here and set them on fire. They killed them and set 'em on fire!" Tyreese shouted angrily.

Tyreese turned around and went up to Rick quickly, Daryl and I both reacted. I took a cautious step forward and Daryl moved behind Tyreese.

"You're a cop. You find out who did this and you bring 'em to me. You understand? You bring 'em to me!"

"We'll find out who--" Daryl was cut off by Tyreese shoving him back when he touched his shoulder.

Tyreese never broke eye contact with Rick, "I need to say it again?"

"No. No. I know what you're feeling. I've been there. You saw me there. It's dangerous" Rick reasoned.

"Karen didn't deserve this. David didn't deserve this. Nobody does"

Daryl moved behind Tyreese again, "A'ight, man, let's--"

Daryl grabs Tyreese's arm, and Tyreese whips around and pushes Daryl back, shoving him against the wall. Rick and I rush forward, about to pull Tyreese off, but Daryl puts his hands up behind Tyreese's head, telling us to stop.

"Man, I ain't going nowhere till I gind out who did this!" Tyreese yells, gripping onto the front of Daryl's shirt.

"We're on the same side, man" Daryl said calmly, maintaining eye contact with him.

"Hey, look, I know what you're going through" Rick said, "We've all lost someone. We know what you're going through right now, but you've got to calm down"

Rick lightly touches Tyreese's back, causing him to release his grip on Daryl and push Rick back.

"You need to step the hell back!" Tyreese yells. I can tell Rick is trying to calm himself down.

"She wouldn't want you bein' like this"

Tyreese's fist swings out and hits Rick's cheek, sending Rick falling to the ground. I yell, "Stop!"

Tyreese punches Rick again, and I rush down to Rick, "Stop!"

Daryl gets ahold of Tyreese from behind, pulling him away from Rick as I help him up. I keep both hands on his waist as I slowly help him up. His stance changes as he walks toward Tyreese, slipping out of my grip. Rick's fist collides with Tyreese's jaw, sending him flying backwards, landing on the ground.
