Chapter 9

Joy kept shaking her head no. But the four purple gunmen turned into six! They aimed their rifle's. Joy screamed at the top of her lungs. And then came an all red Scarlet with hands on her hips and her whip detached in her hand ready to go."I hate a man who hits on children. Such a...bitch move!". One gunmen clicked his rifle and walk towards Scarlet aiming it at her. Suddenly, Scarlet whipped her whip around the man's legs. Causing him to fall. Another purple came and started shooting at her. Scarlet cart wheeled to the man and kicked him in the face! The two other purples came and one grabbed her by both of her arms. And the other punched her in the face and pointed his revolver at her. She kicked the revolver out his hand and kicked him square in his face. The last purple let go and started running away. Scarlet took her whip and whipped him in the middle of his back, causing to fall and loose strength. When Scarlet raised her head and turned around, Joy was video taping the whole thing. Joy stopped the recording and shouted," Yo! You were badass! Thanks for saving my life and--ungh!".Scarlet hit her upside the head with a brick.

Joy woke up with a headache. She was chained to the broken space heater inside the dim room where Dr. Shadow and his henchmen played spades. Joy was scared. She saw the bullets on the floor and Chauncey's now dried up bloodstains. Joy started trembling and shouting! Scarlet walked into the room. Glancing at Joy. Joy gasped and said,"Hey! You're that crazy freak from the alley on Hollow and Bradley! I'm gonna call the--".Scarlet cut her off."What? The cops...with what phone?" Joy's shaking hand pattted her whole body."My phone...my phone...my phone! Where's my phone?".Exclaimed Joy. Scarlet looked around the room like she didn't hear her. Joy got angry."I know you heard me! Where is it! Tell me now!". Scarlet looked at her with a crossed face."Don't worry about it! But I can tell you that your phone, video camera, camcorder, iPad, iPod, all your little gadgets. Gone. Even your ear buds". Joy was angrier."What do you want from me, huh ? What do you want from me?".Scarlet walked up to her and both was face to face."What I want is every little detail about what happened the night before. And I mean all of it".Joy told all of her knowledge and what she knew about Dr. Shadow. Making Scarlet one step closer to the crook.
