Attack On Titan: Syad

Chapter 3

    I woke up on the ground behind Mikasa, Armin and Connie with Eren leaning on me, already awake.
    "They think we're Titans." Eren said.
    My eyes widened. He had no memory of what happened. Figures. He's still too new to know. I used him to get to my feet.
    "The other one! It's awake!" Someone yelled.
    I was shaky on my feet but I managed to stay up. I looked around the courtyard we were in. We were surrounded and had guns aimed at us. I chuckled to myself.
    "Armin, Mikasa let me. Go stand by Eren." I said gently.
    They looked at me in surprise. I smirked.
    "Trust me. Just like you did earlier. Connie I'm gonna need you okay?" I asked.
    He nodded and stood by me, letting me lean on him while I faced the Lt. My arm was around Connie's shoulder and his arm around my waist.
    "Yes I am different than you but that is no reason to kill us. Thanks to me and Eren we were able to save the cadets trapped in HQ, and just the two of us alone were able to eradicate half of the Titans that had gotten inside the walls! If you don't believe me when I say I have control and no desire to eat humans let me prove it." I stated.
    The Lt looked horrified that I would even dare speak to him. I pushed off Connie and went into salute.
    "I am a member of the military! I have the right to a just trial and not some idiot who is too scared to even listen to me!" I snapped.
    Everyone was amased that I was able to put that much authority in my voice.
    "Let her show her worth." The general said from the shadows, walking into our view.
    "Just don't attack me. Connie remember what we did to get to HQ?" I asked.
    He shuddered but nodded. I chuckled at him.
    "Relax. It won't be for that long and we both know it's the safest place to be when there's danger." I teased.
    "What are you planning girl?" General Pryx asked.
    "I'm going to show how safe I can be. Using my friend here to demonstrate that humans really don't taste good." I chuckled at my own words.
    I raised my hand to my mouth and bit into the flesh on my thumb, sinking my canines into it, drawing blood. After the smoke cleared I was sitting calmly on the ground, careful not to squish anyone. Gasps and yells of fear were heard when they saw me. I had one hand on the ground next to Connie. I nudged him and invited him to climb up.
    He gave me a weak smile and ran up my arm. I shuddered suddenly as two more sets of feet ran up my back, causing me to hunch over so they could get up to where they were going. I picked Eren up gently and let him sit in my hand. Armin, Mikasa, and Connie showed how safe I was by climbing all over me. I huffed a laugh as their hands trailed behind them tickling me. They stopped on my shoulder. I looked at Connie.
    He sighed but nodded, jumping off my shoulder. I caught him in my free hand and looked at the general and his men. Everyone was in shock. Here was a Titan that was letting humans climb all over her and being gentle when she held them in her hands. I lifted Connie to my face and took a deep breath of his scent and made a grossed out face.
    "Hey! I don't stink!" He yelled at me.
    I huffed a laugh and opened my mouth. The serrations on my cheeks split letting me open my mouth wider so he could stand up straight in it. He stepped onto my teeth and with his hand on my upper teeth stood still. I was keeping my tongue away from him and trying not to spit him out.
    "Connie they get the point. Get out." Mikasa said.
    Connie must have looked at her and saw how serious she was as he got out. I shuddered, glad the taste was out of my mouth. I set everyone down before I started to tear myself out of the back of my neck. My Titan body slumped into its lap as I got my upper half out of the flesh. I had to stop and catch my breath at that point.
    Two sets of hands grabbed my arms and started pulling me out. I looked up and it was Armin and Connie. I smiled tiredly to show my thanks as they got me out and down to the ground. Before our eyes my Titan body dissolved into steam. I slumped against Eren tiredly. I wasn't perfect I had just had a lot of practice.
    "What are the names of the ones who can change?" General Pryx asked.
    "Syad." I called.
    "And Eren Yeager." Eren called.
    "Syad what is your last name?" The next question was fired at me.
    "Classified." I snapped, "Way above you."
    I missed something because the next thing I saw was a canon coming at us. I went to grab the others but Eren beat me too it. After a crash, and explosion I looked around. We were in a rib cage.
    "Eren...." I breathed.
    His eyes moved around. He was trying to pull himself out.
    "Everyone out!" I yelled.
    They looked at me in shock. I dropped off the rib I was on and got out of the way. Finally getting the clue they followed. The steam was still hiding us. I saw Eren pull himself free but slip. I managed to catch him before he hit the ground.
    "Thanks for the catch." He said, his eyes showing his fear.
    I rubbed his back and supported him. I led the way into the view of the general and the men, standing tall and defiant.
    "Does that answer your questions?" I asked.
    "Not all of them. Can you two get the wall closed?" Pryx asked.
    I thought about it. The hole was about as tall as me, and the only thing that would close it was a boulder that size. Where was one that sized.....?
    "Syad the chuck of wall near the corner of this one. Think you could lift it?" Eren asked.
    "Not alone. I'd need your help and someone to keep the other Titans off us. Otherwise we won't be able to do anything." I replied.
    "Why is that?" Pryx asked.
    I snorted, "We're human and smell like it. To them we're just large humans that they can toy with. My kin aren't smart. They see each other as rivals and humans as prey and that's it. There is no mixing the two. Now unless you want us dead get some units to watch our backs. I need to teach Eren while I can."
    With that Eren, Mikasa, and Armin left Connie who was scared shitless and the men on the ground as we went up to the wall.
    I would have to make these lessons quick. Important now the rest later. Let's see..... How to change and how to control it for now.
    "Eren you're going to have to learn fast. I'm going to teach you the basics but the rest is up to you. I'll help when I can but if my hands are full you're gonna be on your own." I stated.
