First Time I Met...
PROLOGUE
*Edited*My friends; Larry and Walter and I arrived and entered the five stars popular club that I heard people talked about. The Neon Hills.
Larry shouted, "Simon says DANCE!"
I rose my eyebrows as I stared at Walter then at Larry, "that ain't funny."
"Simon, bro we came here to have fun at least." Larry blurted, "not to talk about love or how she broke your heart."
I looked at him one last time before leaving him there with Walter that started to order a drink, of two small glass of whiskeys.
Alright. Larry could be serious and aggressive when it comes to our job but when he goes to a clubs like this he would turn into a sweet-wild animal seeking lonely, shy and innocent women to hunt down.
But Walter is totally different. He's a kind, out-going and supportive man at his job and his girl. Besides he hates clubs. His girlfriend demanded him to have fun at least since he soon will marry his girl that has been together for five years now.
Forget about my friends for a moment. Let's talk about me for a minute. I recently got heartbroken by a woman three weeks ago. She actually cheated on me by sleeping with my frenemy from work. Lyle Queen. I actually introduce him to her months ago and I guess by that time she hid that secret from me that she was cheating on me for months and I didn't even notice it.
Sighed.
I sauntered onto the dancefloor when a red-headed girl with dark lipstick and tight navy dress showing her curbs appeared in front of me.
"Hey, cutie." She said wrapping her arms around my neck, "want to dance?"
I nodded.
I gently pushed her aside not interested at all so I stood on the dancefloor where I located the men restroom and went in for almost less than five minutes that I got out.
Then suddenly something caught on the corner of my eye. I spotted a beautiful young woman; pale skin, dark medium brunette wavy hair with red highlights. Wearing casual clothes; really ripped dark blue skinny jeans, white-black high tops converse shoes, white half cut t-shirt with a black leather jacket.
This young woman looked too young to be here in the club.
Larry interrupted my thoughts of her. "Simon! Dude this hot twins just made out with me. Can life be any better?" Larry said.
Larry kept babbling that I couldn't stop staring at her. She's so damn beautiful and different than the others that I dated before. I need to talk to her. I need to.
"Simon, are you freaking listening to me?" Larry said.
"Huh? Oh, I'm sorry bro. But there's something I gotta do." I gently pushed him aside.
I don't want to lose this girl. I know she's young but if she leaves I will never forgive myself and never hear the end of it. I started to zig-zag the people from the dancefloor then my heart pounded when the young girl saw me.
I could see her brown eyes and soft pinkish lips.
She smiled but left without saying anything. No words. Actually, I was supposed to say something to her but it was too late.
I said, "wait."
I ran after her but she quickly disappeared. Poof. She's gone. Her beautiful face just disappeared. But then someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned around and there she appeared in front of me still smiling beautifully. I think I'm not going to forget that smile of hers.
"What's your the name?" I politely said but nervous.
She became silent. She looked down at the ground then I lifted her chin up to admire her adorable smile and her vibrant eyes. Wow. I wasn't that close before but her eyes were the type of dark chocolate and caramel meeting for the first time for love at the first time.
"Jessica," she whispered.
She took a good grip on the collar of my shirt when I followed her towards the dancefloor.
"I'm Simon, b-by the way."
She started to leave warm kisses on my cheeks ever so gently where she went ahead and unbuttoned two or three buttons from my light blue long sleeve shirt.
"How old are you?" I asked her.
She doesn't reply. She began to slowly take off her leather jacket where I took it and she turned around. But then I saw the strange and different point of view on her arms and her stomach.
I saw multiple bruises all over her and a fresh long cut wound on her ribcage. The bruises were hues with colors that are probably shouldn't be on somebody's skin. They looked more like a size of a fist. The cut looked more recent because of its redness.
At of nowhere, she started to dance and feel the music that is playing on. She moved her hips side-to-side while her arms high to the sky and slowly flipping her hair. I chuckled inside. She turned around again to be facing me where she smiled and I smiled back.

Suddenly, the music that she was dancing to stopped and the next track turned to a more slow beat."I have to go," she said.
"Can't you stay?" I said sounding a bit disappointed.
She smiled once again where she leaned in to kiss me softly on my lips then parted and left running with her black leather jacket she took off earlier.
"Simon," Larry and Walter pulled me out from the dancefloor and out from the club. "Let's go. The lieutenant called us for an emergency."
I'll never forget her. I said in my thoughts. "I won't."
