Chapter 2

I loved the dress mostly because It made me feel pretty and I had never felt that way in a long time. I didn't put any make up on but I curled my hair. I had no idea where we were going because I had already ate dinner. I was just staring at my reflection picking out all my flaws. I was still very bony from not eating much and you could still see my scars on my arms and legs. There was still some cuts on my hands and feet but nothing that would bother me too much with shoes on. I don't know ho long I was just standing there staring at myself but eventually there was a knock. I opened the door and it was Liam. He pulled me into a hug and whispered "You look amazing know lets get out of here" Then he linked our arms together and he walked me to the car and opened the door for me. We weren't driving for very long until we made it to a big cliff we were on the top already. Liam got out of the car and opened my door again. We linked arms and he brought me to the edge of the cliff. I looked out and you could see the whole territory. I guess he could how beautiful I thought it was especially with the orange sky from the sun set because he laughed and said "It's perfect isn't it" I looked up to him and nodded. Then he said "I took you here so that you can know how special you are to me and the pack. I wanted to show you how much power you have I will do anything for you anything and so will any pack member. I will never let anyone hurt you ever no one will ever lay a hand on you ever again and I want you to know this." I looked at him and you could tell the look of sincerity he had on his face. I then jumped into his arms and I started crying. Not because I was sad it was because I was so happy that I had someone that would love me and not hurt me in my life. It had been a long time since someone had loved me or even cared about me. Then Liam said "Baby why are you crying?" I pushed away a little so that he could see my face and smiled. He smiled back then picked me up and took me back to the car.

Once we were inside the pack house someone walked up to us and she kept her head down. Then she said "Alpha there are some clothes in your closet for the luna" Liam nodded then said "Okay thank you Linda you may go home now." Then once the she wolf was gone Liam scooped me up and carried me to the bedroom. I did oblige about Liam carrying me mostly because I was tuckered out. I just wanted to get into some comfy clothes and snuggle up in a fluffy blanket. Liam set me down at the closet door and went to the bathroom. I walked into the giant closet and found the area that looked like it was supposed to have my sized things. I saw pajamas for me but instead I walked over to wear Liam's tees were and picked out the biggest one I saw then put it on. I walked out and saw that the shower was running so I just crawled into the bed and snuggled under the blankets. It had been a while when Liam came out in his towel and walked straight to the closet. A few minutes later he came out in only his underwear. I saw start walking towards the couch when I sat up from the bed quickly and grabbed his hand before he could make it out of my reach. I ushered him towards the bed and he smiled and tackled me down and pulled the covers over us and it was shortly after that when I finally fell asleep.

In the morning I expected to be inside a warm embrace but found that I wasn't. I felt around and felt only more mattress. I frowned the sat up and saw the time. It was already 2 o'clock! That's why he wasn't in the bed. I had a long day yesterday so I guess it tuckered me out a lot. I decided to get off my butt and go get dressed for I guess, the rest of the day. Inside the closet I picked out a flowery blue dress that went to right above my knee. I also put on some sandals and pinned a piece of my hair back after it was brushed. Before I left to wander the building I made the bed and straightened up the room.

Slowly I opened the door and looked both ways before stepping outside and closing the door behind me. I did did a little game in my head to chose which way to go I decided to go left. I was walking for a while not knowing where I was going I passed a couple people and they just smiled and kept walking. I was getting very lost when another person came to me. She was super tall and felt very small and helpless compared to her. She walked up to me and you could see the look of disgust on her face. Then she looked down on me "Why do you have Liam's smell all over you? You little slut." She spat furiously. I kept my head down and then she said "Tell me you scrawny bitch!" I whimpered and crouched lower. The she wolf snickered then said "Your such a little wimp." Then she slapped me across my face and I fell to the ground. "You need to reply to your future Luna" she said then walked away. About one minute passed when I got up off the ground and started looking for a pen and paper. When I finally found one I wrote do you know where alpha Liam is? and used it to find him. When someone finally told me where I could find him I kept wondering why that lady said she was going to be the future Luna. I am Liam's mate so I don't understand. I kept thinking about what happened when I bumped into a hard chest. I looked up to see Liam smiling down on me. "Hey baby did you get enough sleep?" I didn't answer or give any sign of emotion. It took him a second to notice my distress that is when he put his hand on the cheek that was slapped and I flinched back. His eyes turned from happiness to see me to concern and pity. I pulled away from him and he asked in a deep growl "Who did this to you?" I didn't know her name so I wrote on my paper I don't know her name but she had blond hair and was very tall he growled and mumbled " Francie" under his breath and stormed off with his eyes glowing red.
