The rest of the day just seems to drag on. You go to all your classes, and everyone stares at you because you're fresh meat. As you're walking down the hall some jock jerk comes and knocks your books out of your hands to the ground. You flip him off as he runs down the hall, and gather up your books. After you cram your books in your locker you begin the hunt for the old pool. You go down a hallway that appears no one really goes down. You look on the wall, and there's a sign that says do not enter, obviously a sad attempt of trying to cover up the word "pool". You push open the door that was obviously locked at one point, because there's a chain and combination lock lying on the ground by the door. You start navigating your way through the dark room, but you suddenly trip. Stairs. You make your way to the side of the stairs, and guide yourself up by the wall. As you make your way up to the top you see a strip of light underneath what is obviously another door. As you reach the door you grab the knob, and turn it. As you walk in the room the first thing you notice is how bright it is in there. The ceiling is all glass with full exposure to the sky. It must be beautiful at night. On your left there is a big beautiful crystal blue pool. For being abandoned, it's in really good shape. As you're admiring the beauty of this new found gem, Ricky sneaks up behind you, and you accidentally back up into him. You gasp, and turn around. From his back pocket he fishes out your cigarettes. You smile at the sight of them. You reach for them, but Ricky pulls them back, and smiles at you. You look at him confused, and he says.
"Let's go for a swim."
With a wry smile.
