Chapter 20

The next morning you wake up and roll over. Ugh, more school. You get ready then walk out to your car and wait for Ricky. When he emerges from his house you smile. The two of you drive to school. When you get out of your car in the school parking lot Ricky makes his way over to you and holds your hand. You look at your hands and smile. You continue holding hands as you walk down the hallway. People look at you guys and whisper to their friends. You don't care. When it's time for the two of you to go to your classes you have a hard time parting. The day seems as if it drags on. You have art class next. You walk into the art room and see that Ricky has this class too. You smile. You go and take a seat. Ricky's all the way at the other side of the room smiling at you. As the class proceeds the teacher assigns a project where you need a partner. You look at Ricky and he looks back at you. When people get with their partners you get up and go to Ricky. The project is that amongst your group you're supposed to draw portraits of each other. The two of you sit infront of each other with your sketchbooks. The whole time you guys are drawing you're smiling. When the time is up you exchange pictures and grade them. You look at his give it an A+ then you hand it back to Ricky. As you check what he graded yours you see that it says A+ and beneath that it says "I love you". You look up at Ricky and he winks at you as the bell rings. When the day's over the two of you head back to your houses. As you're parked infront of your houses Ricky asks.
"Want to go to my house?"
The two of you walk to Ricky's house and go in. It's really nice. Ricky leads you up to his room and it's exactly how you imagined it to be. The walls are black and the curtains are closed so there's no light in the room. Ricky hugs you from behind.
"I love you."
