I end up looking around the forest with Sora. "Gee...I haven't been this hot since that one field trip in middle school..." Sora says as she slowly wipes the sweat off her forehead.
I slowly took off my sweater and threw it at her head "Use it as a shade, Inu." Sora snarled and used my sweater as a shade, to be honest she's cute sometimes when she gets mad. Which does explain why I like to tease her sometimes.
"Huff...Huff...We...gotta...take a break...I don't feel so..." I turned back at Sora, she looked really pale and she tripped, as I catch her before she fell I noticed the same fever like before.
"Sora..." I carried Sora on my back, covering her from the sun with my sweater. After what felt like a Thirty minute walk, I end up walking through a new side of a forest I've never seen before, I noticed some trunks of trees just covered with what seems like white eyes. "What kind of forest is this...? " I look around, seeing some bodies hang on a branch from their necks. "I gotta bad feeling bout this..Sora?" I felt my hands feel light and I noticed Sora wasn't on my back anymore. W-Wha?? Where'd she go!? She was just on my back!

When I looked up, I saw branches with poison on the tip of their end, and ready to stab Sora. "Don't you dare!!" I cut the branches, and caught Sora as she fell. After carrying her in my arms, I ran as fast as I can out of the forest. Until...

"Why did you enter a forbidden place, mortal?" I turned my head to see a huge tree with one great big white eye as the cornea part of the eye is completely black. "Where are you..!?" I looked around and I saw the corner of my eye, a shadow standing on a branch of the big one eyed tree. The woman had the exact same eye as the tree, she had a huge scar on her right cheek, also to mention she was very pale...as if she came back from the dead. "None of your business lies here! I demand you to go back! Back to where you belong!" I chuckled a bit "Real funny...but we didn't mean to come here..."
The dead looking woman gave me a glare. "Thou ye not understand my request!?" I gave a look "Don't know much simple English do ya?" She scoffed at me and her pupils, which were black, had turn white. Strong winds blew in every direction, even blowing me in the air,almost made me drop Sora. "...!?" I held close to Sora, as the dead pale woman started to levitate and now white sticks of branches surround her, almost sword like, ready to impale us both. "Beide sollen verschwinden und nie zu meinem Wald zurück! Lieber Vater! Tötet sie, bis ihr Blut verschwunden !!"

I started to feel tiny cuts scratch on my face, now trying to keep Sora covered with my sweater. All of a sudden, the wind had slowly stopped. I think I knew the reason why...
"...! Sora's hair...its...red..." The pale woman noticed it, reason why she stopped her power to kill us. "What is she....!?" The woman came close taking Sora away from me. "O-Oi!! Give her back--!" I looked down to see roots from the ground, wrapped around my whole body, stopping me to get close to Sora. The woman examined Sora and had lifted her shirt up. "The hell you doing?!" I blushed trying not to look, but she only lifted the shirt up to her stomach. The woman's eyes widened in fear. "No good...must stop it...." The woman had done some weird hand sign and slowly roots came up from the ground, keeping Sora in position. "What are you doing...!?" Lights beamed up from the ground, and the light slowly turned red, now seeing tons of red looking cells...but only to see the red marbles that are slowly chewing off Sora's organs.
"Marmor in diesem Gremium, zu verschwinden und nie wieder! Stoppen Fütterung aus wie Mädchen Organe zur Verbesserung der Festigkeit! Dieses Mädchen ist nun unter dem großen Baum Schatten gesegnet !!"
I watched as Sora's eyes widely open and nothing was in her eyes but just blank white. "A-ARGHHH!!" feeling stronger winds then before, I would feel a heavy hatred in wind. After a couple of minutes, Sora slowly stopped screaming in pain and she passed out. "What... What happened??" I stared at Sora as she lie on the ground after the roots slowly put her down. "Hey! Tell me what you did to her!? The woman looked back at me " She was about to release her ultimate power... One that I would have difficulty to finish off...this makes it easier...but now it seems that she was hunted by that one man..." I looked at the pale woman. " what do you mean by
'that one man'...?" She walked back towards the big tree and stood on the branch again snapping her fingers as the roots roughly put me down back on the ground. "Ow! Gee!" I sat up and looked at Sora. "She has that marble planted within her skin, one marble that could tell you lies, lies to what the eyes see...Luckily..she hasn't been messed in the brain. Otherwise she would no longer have memory of her usual self, or you." I gulped a bit and stared at the woman. "How do you know...?"
"I know cause I've witness that scene...From now on we're allies...So I won't kill you for trespassing..." After I lie Sora's head on my shoulder and I sat her up against me. "So...she was gonna unleash the power of the marble?"
The woman plucked a leaf from the branch, the only leaf within these dead trees. "Dairiseki..."
"What...?"
"That's what they're called, Dairiseki, there are many. Dairiseki are just a capsule of the many other marbles...you see other kinds of marbles have different types of energy...for example: the marble of death, Shi no dairiseki.
That marble has a very intense energy containing a level of darkness that you wouldn't expect every day."
I looked at the woman, still confused, but got the idea of the meaning. "So you're saying, that a little Dairiseki is just a capsule for some type of energy to be stored in?" She nodded.
"Not all are bad, like the marble of healing, Chiyu. That marble contains an energy to heal any wounds, but it may be possible to work on the dead...that's if you make it to the body under five seconds..." I looked at the woman then back at Sora. "Earlier, you were really gonna kill us but...why didn't you? And how come you sided with me so easily?"
The woman chuckled "because, you have the soul of the Emerald flames. I knew your father passed it on to you...but your mother is the soul of the Ruby flames...its not possible for the child to earn such power, unless the father's blood has laid on your hands. My face went pale as I remember my father's death. " how can you know it all in just one glance...?"
"That's where I keep secret, besides if I try to explain how would you understand the way my clan works?"
"Clan...?" She nodded and whistled in a high pitch sound, slowly people began to rise from the ground, with the same dead eyes, black cornea and white lenses with black pupils.
" Deddo-me no mori, Our clan named after my father. This tree is where we planted his eyes, that's why you see such trees with eyes. His eyes are like seeds, also our eyes see the area of that tree. The area around us, the people believe to get through which have failed, so we plant their organs within the soil to keep the environment the same. Simply just say, feeding the eyes of my father." I felt in disgust now as I looked down at the ground, kind of explain why I smell strong iron.
After hearing an explosion somewhere far off in the distance everyone immediately took out their weapons of course all wood. "He seems to be giving us a visit once more, lets give it its first and its last lesson!"
