HIVE gets some newbies

Artemis woke up in a helicopter. Not just any helicopter, this one looked a lot more fancy than that. He noticed that there were two more kids, maybe a year or two younger than he, handcuffed to the seat. They seemed to both be still asleep. He looked down and noticed he was handcuffed too.

One of the kids began to stir. He was a boy with black hair.

"Who are you? Where am I?" asked the boy.

"Well, my name is Artemis Fowl the second. And I have absolutely no idea where we are."

"I'm Tom. Tom Riddle."

Otto smiled. The newbies were coming in today. Being a 5th year, he had the job of welcoming them. He flashed back to when he had first arrived at HIVE.

He had been so determined to escape. He had thought of HIVE as a prison. He did get used to it though and he now thought of HIVE as home. It's funny how your perspective changes, he thought.

The girl was beginning to stir. Tom and Artemis watched closely.

She woke up. And screamed. "Who the hell are you?" she demanded. Tom replied, "My name is Tom and this is Artemis-"

"What the heck am I doing here? And oh, isn't Artemis a girl's name? My name is Gaia."

"Named after the Greek goddess of the Earth, I presume?"

"No, actual-" she paused."yeah."

"Two people named after Greek goddesses on one ship. This could be interesting."

Just then, an ninja stepped out of the doorway to the cockpit.

"I have a feeling we might just be about to find out where we are," Artemis remarked dryly.
