Tremaine

"Stephanie?"

"Hey Tremaine" she smiled "It's good to see you again"

"W-what are you doing here?"

"I came to see you silly" she chuckled "You gone let me come in or?"

"Y-yeah...come in" I said as I stepped aside and let her in. I closed the door back and locked it. I turned around and saw Stephanie looking at Taylor and Taylor looking at the ground, fidgeting  with her fingers "Stephanie, what are you doing here?"

"I told you" she smiled as she looked back at me "I came to see you. Did I ruin something?" She looked back at Taylor then back at me "Sorry if I stopped by unannounced, I didn't know you had company"

"It's cool. Uhmm, Taylor this is Stephanie, Stephanie this is Taylor my-"

"Girlfriend?" She cut me off. I looked at her as my eyebrows shot up "She's your girlfriend right?"

"Y- yeah" I stuttered "How'd you know?"

"Tremaine, I'm not that stupid" she laughed "Obviously, she's here, in her Pj's and she's pregnant. Congratulations" she smiled

"Thank you"

"Your beautiful" she said looking back at Taylor "How old are you? You look very...young"

"I'm 18" Taylor said softly "Uhmm, Tremaine? I'm going to go back upstairs and leave you guys alone"

I nodded my head and watched as Taylor walked upstairs. Stephanie placed her purse on the coffee table and sat on the couch.

"How you been?"

"I'm good. Look Steph, seriously. What are you doing here? I haven't even seen or heard from you in awhile. How did you even know I still lived here?"

"I didn't know until I decided to drive over here and saw your car in the driveway. I just wanted to see you, and to see how you been"

"Well that's very nice of you, but you shouldn't be here" I stated as I crossed my arms over my chest

"Why? I can't come see you? I came here to see if we can move past from the past and be friends"

"I've been moved from the past. The day we broke up" I chuckled "I never called you and you never called me. We both agree to break up and that's what we did"

"Yeah. But we didn't agree to not keep in contact with eachother. Or atleast be friends" she snapped

"Let's not be stupid here. No we didn't agree on that stuff, but we agreed to break up because I put all my time into my job and so do you. Let's be real, your parents didn't even like me when we dated because I was black. What makes you think they would like me if we were friends?"

"We shouldn't care about what my parents think Tremaine! I-"

"But you did" I laughed as I cut her off "You didn't put your foot down or stick up for our relationship. I loved you"

"I love you too Tremaine, but-"

"No" I stopped her "I said I loved you. Past tense" I corrected her. She sighed "I think you should leave"
