Authors note~ hola }:) mog OK so I was looking at this story and saw that it had like 12 reads mog mog thank you guys so much I seriously have no idea why you guys are wasting your time on this I don't get people... But anyway I'm sorry I don't exactly have a specific day that I update but anyway I really only have time either on the weekends when its the middle of the night... But anyway on with the story...

I pull myself up as cade hands me my stuff

"Thanks" he looks at me... Wait no he's staring... Why is he staring again.…? "Uhh... Cade..?" He moves his hand up "uhh... Wha..." He touches my eye and I wince a little but not much to try to hide the pain as I've had to do all my life... But he notices anyway and quickly flinches his hand away

"I'm so sorry... But wow he really did a number on you..."

"Oh well we should probably get going"

"Yeah I guess that would be a good suggestion" I plug my headphones back into my iPod find a song and only put in one of the pair so cade and I could talk if he wanted to but we walked in silence for the majority of the walk anyway then...

"WAIT" I stop dead in my tracks...

"Huh?! What!? What happened!?!?"

"YOU'RE GONNA GO FAR KID!!!!! Mog I love this song!!!!" I start singing to every word of the song then I see cade put in the other of the pair headphones "I hope you know that you're defiantly not going to know this song..."

He starts nodding his head to the beat "I like this song" he says I stop and just kind of stare.

"How do you know this song?"

"My brother used to listen to stuff like this..." I get a little confused but decide not to dwell on the subject...

"Well your brother obviously has great taste in music!"

"Yeah..." He starts singing along to the chorus wow he knows a lot more than I expected him to we turn onto prospit and of course his house has to be at the end of the street we say our goodbyes as I keep walking

Ah good 'ol  413 prospit... Not! I walk into the house and put my stuff on the couch and go straight to the bathroom to try to conceal... This *gestures to face particularly the eye* to fix it up and go back into my room and get my phone sending cade the first message

'Hi cade' and almost instantly I get a response as if he was going to text me at the same time

'Hi Jennifer!'

'Sorry to burst your bubble but its jeniferr...'

'Sorry... But anyway what's up?'

'Nothing really'

just then I hear my mom and her drunk self scream

'Hey sorry all... Be right back the witch calls...'

'Huh?'

'My mom...'

'Oh OK'

'Brb'

I put my phone down and walk out to see my mom with her arms crossed

"Ye-" in cut off almost instantaneously by a hand coming across my face

"Don't you yes me Missy what do you think this is?!" She points at my backpack and binder

"I- I j- I a- always..." I get another slap to the face

"Don't backtalk me!!" She throws my stuff at me almost knocking me down "put it away! Don't let it happen again!" She goes back out to the porch and slams the door so hard I thought she was going to break it

"I love you too mom" I say sarcastically and go into my room and shut the door slowly behind me right before putting my stuff down and feel my eyes start to water then I hear my phone go off oh... Right... Cade

I pull my self together and go over to my phone

'Hey you there yet?'

'Hello?'

'Jeniferr?? Are you still there?? I'm starting to worry...'

'JENIFERRRRRRRRR!!!???'

'Please I want to know if you're OK!?!'

I roll my eyes 'Well thanks a lot for trying to blow up my phone'

'Oh... Sorry just worried...'

I again feel my cheeks getting warm wow I really need to stop doing that...

'Well I'm fine'

'That's good'

'...'

'Did you want me to come over?'

'No no nonononono I'll go over to your house?? If you want me to...'

'OK? That sounds good then'

'Yeah I'll see you in a minute'

'K'  what have you gotten yourself into this time... Ugh I really need to be more careful about what I say
