I Never Dreamed Of It

Chapter 5: Getting Settled

After watching a few episodes of Attack on Titan (you should watch it! best show ever!), Madison realized something.

"Wait! Where will we all stay?"

"I don't know. Good point." I responded, still focusing on the battle going on on the TV.

"Oh. I think my cousin lives here! How could I forget?!? I can call and ask her if we can stay there." Mary said.

"Yeah. Good idea." Dan said.

Mary called her cousin and they soon picked up.

"Hey!" pause "Yeah, you?" pause "I have to ask you something, a really important favor." pause "Could my 3 friends and I stay at your place for the time being? I would explain, but it's a lot to say over the phone." pause "OMG! Thanks soooooo much!" pause "Oh. well I'll see if that'll work. One sec."

"So Taylor said that we can stay there, but she only has room for three of us..." Mary trailed off.

"That's okay! We have room for one person here so one of you can stay with us." Phil said energetically.

"Okay, we can decide on who stays where later. Mary, tell your cousin 3 of us will stay with her." Madi said. Mary picked up the phone again.

"Ya. We'll stay there. Again, thank sooooo much! Bye! See ya soon." She hung up.

We had to decide who would stay with Dan and Phil.

"I think Bella should stay here. She's the one who came here first and Dan and Phil can watch her." Madi suggested.

"I'm down." I said. "If that's okay with you guys." I added, mainly to Dan and Phil.

"Yeah. I don't mind!" Phil said, in his usual cheery tone.

"Same." Dan added. Everyone else agreed.

"I told Taylor we would meet her at Starbucks. Madi, Madison, and I should go. And it'll give you guys time to get settled and shtuff." Mary said.

"Okay. See ya guys later!" I exclaimed, waving.

"Baaiiiii!" Madison said as the three of them left.

"You can stay in my room. I'll take the sofa." Dan said to me.

"No! Are you sure? I can sleep on the sofa. I don't mind." I said quickly.

"No, I insist you take my room! After all, I can assume the browsing position without actually getting up!" he said cheerfully. The three of us laughed.

"Ok, fine." I agreed. But not before I saw Dan smile at Phil, who had been unusually quiet. I think there's something up with those two. After scrolling the internet and eating pizza until 2 A.M., everyone went to bed. Dan's bed was uber comfy! I fell asleep very quickly, all the while thinking about what would come in this new chapter of my life!
