Behind The Scenes Love

Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1 POV Andrea

I wake up to my alarm clocking going off. Only the most annoying noise in the world. I don't want to get up until I hear someone yell "ANDREA GET UP AND TURN THAT OFF!" Must be Destiny.  

"Fine!" 

I get up and slam the snooze button. Then I look outside and see the beautiful blue waves crash into a white foam. The sky has no clouds and the sun is just in the mid sky.  

I run into Destiny's room. She mumbles into her pillow "I am not getting up." 

"Come on" I say as I try to pull her out of bed. She doesn't budge. "The waves are big and there's no cloud in the sky!"  

She gets up suddenly "I'm up! Surf boarding?" 

"Yes. Ill text your sister and see if she wants to come after work." 

"Okay get out I need to change! Wetsuit?" 

"Ya probably a good idea"  

I run back into my brightly painted blue room and grab my phone.

To: Peyton 

Hey Peyton! How long is the trial going for today? Me and Des are going to go surfing. Join us if u get home early enough! XO -Drea

I go through my bathing suits. "DESTINY PINK OR BLUE?" 

"HOW SHOULD I KNOW?!" She screams and then walks in. "Hmmmmm." She studies the bathing suits. "Pink with the white bottoms!"  

"Okay shoo!" Once she closes the door I put my bathing suit on.  

We do our daily routine. Destiny makes the breakfast and I bring everything down to the beach. I grab our towels out of the hall closet and leave the house.  

The beach is right on the beach so we can go whenever we want. It's one of the perks of having your best friends sister being a lawyer and being night time waitresses. We all split the rent.  

I grab my surfboard and place the towels and surfboard down and then I grab Destiny's surfboard and lay it down next to mine. As I'm putting on my wet suit Des comes out with toast and eggs on a paper plate. I zip up my wet suit and then gobble them down.  

"Are we still going to that one direction concert tonight?" I say 

"Yes! I can't wait to see them again." 

A couple of years ago Destiny was best friends with Liam. They were neighbors until she moved to California and we met. She still has a faint accent, but has kinda grown out of it. On their last tour Liam introduced her to the whole band and they became a group of friends. I was supposed to go also, but I had the flu.  

"When was the last time you talked to any of them?" I ask.  

"I video chatted Liam and Zayn last night. Liam and Danielle are sadly over. And I mean O-V-E-R over." She tells me.  

"Awe they were cute from the pictures I saw." Now don't get me wrong, they have some pretty good songs, but I'm not a complete fan.  

"What are we waiting for? Lets go!" She says.  

We run towards the waves after she gets her wetsuit on and paddle into the waves. I don't have to sit there too long until I get a wave and ride it in, but Des didn't get it.  

As I'm paddling out there she tries yelling something at me, but I'm not sure what she's saying. Then she rides the next wave in and I just watch her jump off her board and run inside the house dripping wet. Oh she's going to hear an earful from Peyton about that. She hates messes.  

I sit there waiting for another wave and ride one in. I take off my wetsuit and dry up with my towel. Then I put my surfboard and wetsuit on the porch. I turn back to grab Destiny's surfboard and hear her run out and put her hands over my eyes.  

"Des! What is this about? Your acting strange."  

"I have a surprise." She tells me.  

"Ugh you know I hate surprises." I say as I let her walk me in.  

"Be careful here are the steps." She says and I carefully feel for each step. Then I throw my towel over on the porch somewhere.  

She leads me over to I'm guessing the living room until she releases her hands from my eyes.  

I see 6 figures sitting on our couches until I realize it's one direction and a girl.  

"Andrea this is Niall, Zayn, Perrie, Louis, Harry, and Liam." 

"We'll it's a pleasure and please call me Drea." They all come up and give me a hug.  

Niall then says "But Andrea is such a beautiful name. Can we call you that? Or do you really care?"  

"Ya" all the boys say.  

"That's really flattering!" I say 

"Oh look who's being charming and proper for once." Destiny says.  

"Shut up before I punch you." I say and we both laugh.  

"Okay so what are you guys doing here? And bringing Perrie? You didn't tell me any of this!" Destiny says.  

"Surprise!" Liam says coming up and putting his arm around Des shoulder.  

I sit next to Perrie. "Darling you need to teach me your makeup tips! You look fabulous running around with these boys." 

She laughs really loud. "I have no idea how I'm still sane!"  

I laugh back "wow that bad huh? Ha" I realize that my hair is just thrown up and I'm still in my bikini. "Are we going to go in the ocean?"  

"Sadly we can't because we have a concert. We don't want to be tired" Liam says.  

"OH COME ON LIAM!" Harry says 

"You ruin the party!" Louis says.  

"Boys! But we can come tomorrow!" 

"Yay!" They all cheer.  

"Okay well I'm going to go freshen up." I say motioning my hands towards my body and then I go to the bathroom to shower.
