Just saying, this chapter will be in Jason's POV. (Point of view)

This morning, I couldn't stop thinking about Abby. She's just so... Different? Different to anyone I had ever met before, and it was great to be around her. She made anything we did together fun. Not to mention her deep hazel eyes, cute short hair, and her wonderful personality. I think.. Maybe I... Could... Um... Be falling for her. What? No. She's just a friend. What if she doesn't like me like that? Our friendship would be ruined. She's the greatest friend I've ever had! Maybe I should ask her to hang out again today. I'll text her. What should I say...
"Sup, it's JJ!"
No. Just no.
"Heeeeeey."
That is just stupid. After a short period of time, I just wrote:
"Hey Ab, I'm pretty sure you know who it is.... Yeah. Anyway, yesterday was pretty fun, so I was wondering if you wanted to hang out again today?"
I waited about five minutes before I got a response.
"Sorry, Jay. Yep, I'm calling you Jay now. That's besides the point. I can't hang out today. Turns out, my grandparents came down from Brisbane to see us! They're staying for the whole week! Woo! I'm so happy... But if you wanted to drop by for lunch, that would be fine. See you! :)" I'm glad I get to spend some time with Abby again.
"Yeah, I'll come over at about 12:30? Can't wait to see you! Bye!! ;)"
You know what this means world, it's shower time! I sound like the biggest loser. Anyway, off to the shower.

I checked my phone and there were four missed calls. But I didn't recognise this number. I wonder who was calling? I never usually call back an unknown number, but you never know. It could be my cousin or something.
*Ring* *Ring*
"Hello?" It was a girls voice. One I was unfamiliar with.
"Hi. I'm just calling because you called me four times. Do you need something?" I explained.
"This is Kaytlyn, the most popular girl on the school!!" Did she really say that?
What was so impressive about being popular? Abby only has me, but she's great!
"So... Did you just call me to tell me how popular you are? Or did you have an actual reason?" I snarled. I think she could tell from the harshness in my voice, that I was pretty annoyed.
"I just wanted to know if you wanted to go on a date today? It would be pretty fun!"
"Oh, I'm really sorry. I've already got plans for today. Maybe another time." Thank you Abby for saving me.
"Well... That's fine. Just call me when you're free. If you wanted to put me in your contacts, my name is Kaytlyn. Bye!" Wait... Kaytlyn.. Abby told me about her. She's the girl that beat her up! With her friends of course! I should have realized! I will never be friends with her. Not the girl that hurt Abby.

"Hi, Jason. Abby is upstairs." Abby's mum greeted me. Her grandparents were no where to be seen, so I just went up to Abby's room. I saw something very surprising when I entered.
"In another life, I will be your girl. We'll keep all our promises. It'll be us against the world. In another life, I will make you sta-" That's when she noticed me.
"Singing Katy Perry, were you?" I chuckled.
"I forgot you were coming.. Is my voice really bad?" I wonder if she took singing lessons. Her voice sounded amazing! I know where I'm taking her the next time we hang out!
"Not at all! It was great!!" Would it be best if I told Abby that Kaytlyn called? I sighed. I had to tell her.
"Um... Abby?" I said in my softest tone.
"Yeah? Her eyes were sparkling. I've never seen green eyes look so wondrous.
"Kaytlyn called me today..." I uttered, and as I said that, a look of disappointment grew on her face. "And" I add. "She wants to hang out with me. She wanted to today, actually, but you saved me. I really don't want to hang out with her."
"Jason, I-"
"Lunch is ready!" We heard from downstairs.
"I guess we better go and eat then." She said, expressionless.

Lunch was pretty great! I met Abby's grandparents, and learnt a little more about each person. I learned Abby's mother's name is Ashlynn, and that Abby's real name is Abigail. Apparently, her dad used to call her Abby pigtails, because she would always have her hair in pigtails. When her father died, Abby swore to always keep her nickname, as a connection to her dad. They were a pretty close family. I'm sure Abby misses that. Before we knew it, it was 3:00pm, and time for me to go.
"Thanks for having me. I really learnt a lot about you, Ab."
"No problem. And for the record, I already have a nickname, and that's Abby. I don't need a nickname for my nickname, Jay." She winked at me.
"What if I told you my full name was Jason...tino?"
"Jasontino? Really?" She replied sarcastically.
"Yeah..." And I left. There was nothing more to it.

A/N: Hope you enjoyed Jason's point of view!!! That was a nice little story about Abby's real name, wasn't it? Anyway, have a great day and seriously, thank you for reading this. It means a lot to me! :)
