Chapter 8: Sick

Aria's POV

It's now Wednesday and Spencer slept over at my house. I'm up and Spence is still asleep. It's 10:00 am and I can't go back to sleep. Spencer is sleeping like a baby. I'm gonna go make us some breakfast and wake her up when I'm finished making it. I slowly get up and try not to wake her, but I stepped on a water bottle. Shoot.

"Where are you going?" Spencer asked rubbing her eyes. She's so cute.

"I'm going to make us some breakfast." I exclaimed.

"No, stay here with me...Please?"

"Okay"

I got back in my bed and laid down next to her.

"How did you sleep?" Spencer asked me.

"Okay I guess. My throat really hurts."

"Well, I guess I'm not the one that's sick." She said and smiled.

I smiled back and started coughing.

"I'm gonna go make you some soup. My special recipe."

"Alright, I'll be waiting."

Spencer went downstairs and just laid in bed. All of a sudden, I got a text from someone.

How dare you leave me. You better do something about her or I will.

Spencer's POV

I made the soup and went back upstairs to Aria. She looked worried about something and she was very pale.

"Are you okay Aria?" She didn't answer so I asked again. "Are you okay Aria?"

"What! Yeah...I'm fine. Just a little out of it right now."

"Are you sure? You can tell me." I told her.

"Yeah I'm fine. I promise."

"Okay, well try eating this soup to see if that'll help."

I gave her the soup and she only ate like two spoonfuls. She looked kinda zoned out so I didn't force her to eat it.

"I'll can take this back downstairs if you want me to."

"Um...yeah that's fine. I think I just need to rest for awhile."

"I understand. Do you want me to stay downstairs so you can have your space or-"

"I want you to stay here with me Spence."

"Okay." I said and gave a light smile.

I laid down next to Aria and she wrapped her arms around me. Now I could get used to this I thought and laughed to myself.

"Why are you laughing?" She asked curiously.

"Oh, no reason just...I'm so lucky to have you." I said and looked at her.

"I love you Spencer."

"I love you too Aria."

I gave her a kiss and then in a matter of five minutes, she was sleeping.

Sorry for the short chapter. I haven't updated in awhile so O just wanted to give y'all something to read. Again, I'm really sorry. I'm so happy because Spencer and Caleb kissed last week OMG! Anyways, have a good day😸
