Chapter 29

(Grace's POV)

We all agreed to go to this little bar/grill place for dinner. The place wasn't so bad, they had a little stage where people got up and sang and the food was amazing.

"We are now going to switch it over to open mic. So if anyone wants to come up and sing you are welcome too." A man says from the stage.

"Oh my God! Chandler go up there." Hope says urging Chandler. "Umm no." Chandler protests. "Um hello world famous boy band here that sings for a living." Louis says waving his hands. "We wouldn't want you guys to get caught. Your disguises are hiding you and if you guys got up and sang people would definitely know it was One Direction." I say back.

"True." They all agree.

"Chandler go up and sing!" Madi says.

"No!" Chandler yells back.

"Are there any takers?" The guy on the stage says looking around. Kaycee must have had enough because she yells up, "Yeah this girl right here!" And then nudges Chandler towards the stage. While she is walking up she looks over her shoulder at us and mouths, I hate you.

She gets on stage and clears her throat into the microphone. "I can't sing up hear unless my best friends come up and sing with me." She says staring at us. We get up, unwillingly might I add, the boys kept on pushing us to stand up and walk up there. You could practically hear us all saying 'shit, shit, shit' the entire walk up there.

We all get up there and then Chandler says, "Now is there any song requests?"

"Yeah sing Little Things by One Direction!" Someone shouts from the back. When I look closer I can see that it was Zayn who yelled it and the other boys were snickering. Bastards.

"Ok girls we got this." Candler says turning to us and we all nod. "Um can we get four other mics up here?" I ask and the guy nods then walks away only to come back with four mics and a guy following him with the mic stands. They set it up in front of us and we thank them.

The guitar dude who was playing for everyone else started to strum Little Things.

Chandler starts us off singing Zayn's part with her soft yet edgy voice.

Your hand fits in mine

But bear this in mind

And I'm joining up the dots

With the freckles on your cheeks

And it all makes sense to me

Then Kaycee comes in with her soft voice taking Liam's part.

I know you've never loved

The crinkles by your eyes

When you smile

You've never loved

Your stomach or your thighs

The dimples in your back

At the bottom of your spine

But I'll love them endlessly

Then both Kaycee and Chandler sing together.
