Summer Road Trip

Chapter 1

(Grace's POV)

This is it the last day of school! When I say the last day of school I mean the last day of school. My friends Hope, Madi, Kaycee, Chandler and I are officially out of this hell hole. We graduated high school yesterday. Our school being the weird school it is,is making us go to school today. Psshhh you actually think that we are gonna go to school today! Hell naw! We're ditching I mean what are they gonna do suspend us? Psshhh as if. Well, I suppose its time to get back to the present sooo, right now we are all walking to Madi's house since its in town and I'm to lazy to drive anywhere. I know I'm weird I can walk but I cant drive because I'm to lazy. Right now I have my I-phone out and its blaring One Direction and we are all scream/singing to it. I swear the people driving by think we are crazy! Who the hell cares though right I don't know them!

We finally make it to Madi's house and we get set all of our stuff down and immediately go to the kitchen to get food "Hey yo Madi, got any cheez-its?" Hope yells. "Somewhere but I don't know where. Find them!" Madi yells back. I swear I am going to need hearing aids because of these two. Me, Kaycee, and Chandler are currently chowing down on goldfish. I love these things! They are so good! We hear the front door open and we all freeze. "Psst Madi. Whens your mom expose to be home?" I whisper "Not this early" She whispers back "Well ladies time to turn into the bad ass ninjas we are and take down this intruder" Chandler whispers. Being the bad ass ninjas we think we are we all move stealthily to the living room where we heard the noise. We get there and we see all of our moms standing there. What the hell were they doing here? Kaycee voiced my thoughts when she said "What are all of you doing here?" "You honestly thought that we wouldn't know that you guys would ditch" Hopes mom says. "She's got a good point there" Hope says "Well anyway enough with the chatter We need to tell you guys something." Kaycee's mom says "What?" I say a little impatiently. Can you blame me there are goldfish and One direction music waiting for me! "Well, we all have talked this through and we think it would be alright if you guys took that road trip across America like you guys have been wanting too" My mom said slowly. I swear our eyes got the size of dinner plates when we heard that. "Ya, you guys can get out see the world and you know all that stuff" Hope's mom says. "You hear that ladies. We going on a road trip!" I scream and everyone of the girls start to scream road trip while jumping up and down. "On one condition though." Kaycee's mom says "What's that" Kaycee answers "Grace has to drive" Madi's mom finishs. Even though I'm a pretty scary driver. They don't know that though so shhhh. "OK!" We all scream. "Ok everyone go home to pack we leave tomorrow" I yell. "Yes ma'm" the girls answer. I walk out the door with my mom and then realize I have to go back and get my car, which was a black jeep rubicon, Ugh......
