New Year; New Me

Judging by how easy 9th grade was, I found it that 10th grade would most likely be the same. Academics had always come easy to me(as well as athletics) and I had never gotten a B.
I had heard rumors that 10th grade was the year everything began to fall apart, but I knew that was when people got too involved in drama, boys, and other things that aren't important in middle school.
I'm not exactly what you call a popular kid at school, but I think I put myself out there. The worst thing about school is dismissal. Everyone is screaming, running and yelling and it just gives me a headache! Maybe other people see me differently like, why I'm so obsessed with my studies, why I never have time to talk, why I am so stubborn; but I'm just being me and all I'm ever going to be.
