Truth and Heartbreak

It was strange, 7th grade. A figure was standing by my locker, Aaron. "Hey, Amber", he said with a wink. "Hey, Aaron", I said flirting. "There's a dance coming up next Saturday (homecoming) and I was wondering if you'd like to go with me", he said blushing. "Yeah, that sounds great, what time?", I asked screaming in my head. "Ummm, how about 6 so I can buy you dinner", he said. "Perfect", I said excited.
         Jace was watching the whole thing from his locker and he looked kinda upset. "Hey what else did your mom say about me?", I asked him. "She said that you would break my heart", he said. And then the school roof began to crumble.
