Amber's POV

I decided to break it off with Aaron. Jace and I have been through way to much and it would ruin our friendship if I broke up with him(though it was never official). As picked up the phone to call Aaron, Jace's number appeared on the screen.

Jace's POV

I was so mad at Amber! But I couldn't break her heart, she's my best friend. She needs to figure this out by herself, without the influence of others. But I longed to talk to her so, I picked up the phone and dialed Amber's number.
"Amber, I want you to-", I said but she cut me off. "Jace! I'm so sorry! It's you it's always been you, and I will always love you", Amber said. "Amber hold on, did you break it off with Aaron?", I asked. "What!", she said shocked. "I read your messages and I found out you were taking 2 guys to homecoming, are you just taking one now?", I said confident in my question. "Yes, but I didn't exactly break it off with Aaron, more like 'set it up',"she said.
