Story of a Thug- Chapter 1

This is the first Urban story that I've posted up. It would be great if I could get feedback and stuff on this story, telling me what you like and what you dislike or how I could make it better. Mariah P.O.V

“Why do these lame ass bitches always wanna play with my money?” Machai said as he punched the dude that tried to rip us off. One thing that you should know out in these streets is don’t fuck with the Macone family. I sat back watching my brother deal with this disrespectful ass nigga. People will learn how to be respectful. I got up out of my chair and approached my brother still going ham on this dudes face.

“Please I’m sorry; I will get you your money man. I promise you! I’m sorry” the man continued to beg as I approached.

“If you’re gunna get ya ass beat then get ya ass beat like a muthafuckin G. None of this begging shit. You wanted to play us then you’re gunna learn what happens when you do.” I said as I walked up beside my brother. My brother gave him one more hard punch to the face and we heard the crack of his nose as blood started to pour out.

“Now this is a warning young blood. Don’t fuck with my money again or it’s your life next time. Now get out of my face.” My brother spat as the man ran out the warehouse.

“Mariah go get the boys to come wipe all this blood up please.”

“Aiight” I said turning around and walking away. My brother Machai ran these streets. He was the Kingpin. You don’t bite off the hand that helps feed you unless you were wishing for a death sentence. Me and my brother we do not play. His nickname in the streets was Menace he didn’t get that name for nothing. My nickname was Malice or Malicious whichever. People usually underestimate me because I’m a female and I am a nice person when I want to be. I know it’s odd because I have the name Malice but I’m nice. The two just don’t add up. However I’m only Malicious when people want to be disrespectful and want to try me.

I walked out of the basement and into the room where all the Dboys were chillin at the moment. They were smoking blunts and sippin on 40’s.

“Ayoo, I’ma need one of you to go down in the basement and clean up the mess down there.” I yelled at all of them.

“And why can’t you do it? You too good to get down on your hands and knees and scrub?” One of the homies Rufus said. The boys started laughing. Who the fuck was this nigga talking too?

“Yoo Roofey you better be glad you’re like family to me because I swear to you ma boy I’d shoot you right in that smart ass mouth of yours. Don’t test me boo boo” I warned.

He laughed. “ Aiight, aiight. Aye Monster” He said hitting the guy sitting next to him in the head.

“What bruh?”

“I’ma need you to go downstairs and clean up whatever the hell kinda mess is down there.”

“Why do I have to do it? None of yall other niggas have good working hands and feet?” He asked.

These bitches were starting to piss me off. Nobody can do what they’re told no more. I swear if this wasn’t my family I’d beat the piss out these pussy’s.

“I’ma ask you all one more time before you really piss me off. I don’t wanna have to drag out Ni’Ni on any of you.” I said patting the gun at the side of my waist. Yes I named my gun!

The guys all busted out laughing.  They thought it was ridiculous but that was my baby. Ni’Ni always had my back.

“Whatever I don’t have time for this I have to go to school.”  I grabbed my stuff and saw Machai approaching from the basement I said my goodbyes and I left. I’ll let him deal with them.

I walked into school and I knew I was already late because the hallways were empty. Ahh well. Today won’t be the first time and it definitely won’t be the last. I was a good student I kept my marks up and always got A’s. It doesn’t pay to be dumb and that shit is just not cute. Intelligence is sexy.

I dropped my stuff in my locker and was on my way to my Chemistry class until I heard screaming. I thought I was imaging shit because the noise was so quiet, but I kept hearing it.  I followed the noise down the hallway and turned the corner. The sounds became louder and I knew I wasn’t hearing things anymore.

“Stop please, I don’t want any trouble.” The girl whimpered in the corner as three girls stood around her. One thing I can’t stand is a bully. Unless ol’ girl was acting up talking shit there was no need for all of them to be standing around her like this.

One of the girls backhanded the one crying and she fell to the floor. I haven’t seen this girl around here before so I’m guessing she’s new and by the looks of it lacking in the fashion department. That wasn’t the problem though.  I wasn’t going to stand by and watch this 3 on 1 bullying shit. I walked over to them and I faintly remember the 3 girls Tatiyana, Rachael and Simone. I hated all three of these ratchet ass hoes. I walked right over there helping the girl up off the floor until I felt a hard ass tug on my hair. These bitches must got me hella fucked up right now.  I turned around and glared at all three of these hoes, they just pissed me off. When I turned around they looked shocked. I guess they didn’t know it was MARIAH FUCKIN MACONE’S hair they just pulled.

“Ohh shit Mariah I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize it was you.” Simone said apologizing to me. At this point I didn’t give a fuck if she apologized or not. I reared back and slammed my fist into her face that girl must have been tired because she took a nap.

“Which one of yall bitches wanna try me next?” I asked the remaining two. They shook their heads picking up the Simone girl and carrying her away from me.

“Are you okay?” I asked the girl still sitting on the floor crying silently in her hands.
