I had a lot of business to handle today. It was a month after Darius’s birthday and our bond was stronger than ever. We’ve only been dating for a short amount of time but I love ol’ dude like we’ve been together for years. I was supposed to meet Machai’s girl the day of the party but she was unable to make it out because of family emergencies. I will be seeing her this weekend though so it’s all good. It will be a double date kind of thing. I had a few more weeks left of school. I was graduating with honors and all that good stuff. My plans for after high school were simple. I’m going to a nearby University to get a minor in psychology and a major in business. I’ve already been accepted into both programs already. I’m also still going to be running shit in this gang of mine. I’m not leaving until I decide it’s time.

I was driving on my way to one of my trap houses. I wanted to see how my business was doing and I also wanted to see the homie Dez. I haven’t seen him in like a week. The bond I have with that dude is amazing; he’s my best friend and all that good stuff. I missed my boo. About 5 minutes later I pulled up to the house and hopped out of my car making my way up to the door. I walked in to the smell of weed smoke. I know they know better than to smoke in my place of business. You don’t do that shit unless you take your ass down to the basement. When I walked further into the house I noticed everyone was working diligently, shit was getting packaged, things were being made, and everything was just running smoothly. I looked around the room until I located the person who decided to light up in here. It was one of my best workers Archie. I walked over to him took the blunt from his lips and put it out in the ass tray he had beside him.

“You know better than to smoke up here.” I told him.

“Oh hey ma, sorry about that. It won’t happen again.” He said.

“It better not. Where’s Dez at though?” I asked him looking around and not seeing him anywhere.

“Ahh he’s down in the basement with your boo thang!” He responded wiggling his eyebrows up and down. I just laughed and shook my head at him.

“My boo thang? You mean Darius?” Archie nodded his head.

“Hmm, Ima go down there and find out what Darius is even doing out here. Handle business like always playa.” I told him before I walked in the direction of the basement. My heels made a click clacking song on the stairs as I made my way down. When I reached the bottom I seen the two of them down there, but their backs were to me. It may have looked like they didn’t know I was down there but trust me they are trained very well. They hear everything. The only thing is though is that they don’t know it’s me. It’s kind stupid how they didn’t even turn their heads to see who was walking in. That’s not smart. I just shook my head and walked over to them. I reached over and gave Dez a hug from behind kissing his cheek.

“Hey bug-a-boo.” I greeted him.

“Hey ma.” He responded, awkwardly trying to return the hug. When I let go I went over to Darius.

“Hey baby.” I greeted him as I turned his face to kiss his nice plump lips. I loved kissing him.

“You don’t get to come to me second. I’m always first.” He explained to me putting on a fake pout. So childish.

“Umhm next time.” I told him walking around the couch to where they were seated. I made my way to sit in the middle of them before I was being tugged into Darius’s lap. I turned to him with a raised eyebrow.

“Was there something wrong with the spot that I was gunna sit in?” I asked.

“Naw, I just want you in my lap.” He responded nuzzling my neck.
