Two months later -

Usher -

Today was the day me and Taraji were going to find out what the sex of our baby was, and I couldn't be happier. I was excited and ready to find out if we were having a boy or a girl. I hoped like hell it was a boy. It was still a little sad because I wished my mom was here. I had been calling and calling her but she sent me to voicemail every time, and when I came by the house she never came to answer the door. I didn't want to experience this moment without her, but I guess I had too.

"You good mama?" I asked as I helped Taraji's mom up the steps. "Oh yeah sweetheart I'm fine," she smiled. "You good baby?" I asked as I kissed Taraji's cheek. "Yes baby I'm good," she replied. We walked inside the doctors office, and I checked in with the clerk at the front desk.

"You ready to meet our son or daughter?" Taraji smiled. "Yeah I am, I couldn't be more happier," I smiled. "I think you're having a boy," mama said as she rubbed Taraji's belly.

"Lord please let this be a girl," she laughed. "Princess I'm so proud of you, my baby about to be a mother," she said as she gave Taraji a kiss on the cheek. "Aww thank you mommy," she smiled.

I put my head down a little as I thought about my moms. I wished she was here with me, I missed her, and I needed her. I looked out the window and smiled as i saw my momma walking up the steps. I got up and walked to the door.

She walked in and smiled the minute she saw me. She opened her arms and I ran to her like a little boy. "Momma I'm sorry," I said as I kissed her cheek. "No baby I'm sorry, I was very rude, and disrespectful to your girlfriend, and I shouldn't have been, I just didn't want you too get hurt again sweetheart, after that huzzy took your money and broke up with you it just burned my insides to see you hurting baby, but how you stood up for her, and the look in your eyes baby I knew you were in love and that you were happy with her, and I just couldn't miss this moment for anything in the world, my son, my baby, about to be a father, I love you so much Usher and I'm sorry," she said as she pulled me in for a hug.

"I love you mama and I accept your apology, I'm just happy your here," I said. "Of course I was coming, I wouldn't miss this moment for nothing, but negro if you ever swear at me again I'm gone grab my clippers and cut your dick off," she said making me laugh.

"I ain't laughing," she said. "I hear you momma," I said as I kissed her forehead. "Where's Taraji?" She asked. "She's over here come on," I said. "Oh, I know she isn't going to forgive me," she said. "She is mommy come on," I said. "Alright," she replied.

We walked over to Taraji and her mom and Taraji stood up. I smiled and I watched them embrace each other. "I'm so sorry," my mom said. "It's okay, I already understand that you were looking out for you're big baby, but he's in good hands now," she said as they laughed. She introduced her to her mom and then they laughed and talked. Taraji winked at me and I winked back.

"Taraji P. Henson," the nurse called. We all got up and followed her to the room where we were supposed to wait for the doctor at.

Five minutes later Dr. Jones came in with her clipboard. "Well hello Ms. Henson," she said. "Hi," Taraji smiled. "Are we ready to find out what we're having mom and dad?" She asked. "Yeah we are," I laughed.

"Okay dad can you go ahead and lift moms shirt for me, mom I need you too lay down, and comfortable for me," she said.

Taraji laid back, and I pulled her shirt up and kissed her stomach. I watched as Dr. Jones washed her hands, and put her gloves on, then she applied some of that green looking cream on Taraji's stomach. She grabbed that tube and started moving it around.

"Mommy, and Daddy say hello to your healthy baby boy, and your healthy baby girl," she said.

"We're having twins?" I smiled as I looked at the screen. "Yes sir, a baby boy and a baby girl," she said as she watched the screen. I smiled as I looked up at the screen.

"Look at their heads," Taraji laughed. "They got Ushers head," my mom said and everybody laughed. "Man y'all ain't funny," I said as I skipped my lips. "Oh hush boy," mama laughed.

"Baby look at them," Taraji smiled. "Yeah, I see them I can't believe we're having twins," I smiled. "Do you guys have names yet!" Taraji's mom laughed.

"Yeah, Daddy say hi too Madison and Mason," Taraji smiled. "Madison and Mason, I like that," I said smiling from ear to ear. "I knew you would," she laughed. "I loved you babe," I said as I pecked her lips. "I love you too," she replied. I couldn't be more happier.
