2 years later
Caleb's POV
Today is my last day at the pack house for the next 5 years. I don't want to leave. My friends are here and I don't want to leave Lexa I love her even though I don't know who my mate is yet I still love her. These past two years have been great I missed school at first but after a while I didn't care anymore but I'm scared that will happen when I leave to go to Alpha Training, I am scared I will forget about Lexa and Jay. I sat in my room, memories replaying in my mind, as a knock at the door interrupts me I get up to answer it hoping that it is Lexa.
"Hey Lexa, come in." I said as I answered the door, not even paying attention if it was her or not. Once I had sat in my chair I looked at the door, because no one had entered my room yet, only to find two little cubs looking back at me. "Hey little ones do you want to come in?" I asked as the little boy smiled at me with big eyes, whilst the little girl stood there looking all shy as she tried to hide behind the little boy who only moved in to the room to stand in front of me. I walked over to the little girl who was nervously stood at the door, "what's you're name?" I asked as I grabbed her hand bringing her forward into the room as I shut the door. I picked up the little girl and sat her on my bed before I did the same to the little boy.
"Clarke" a small voice whispered as she answered my question.
"Nice to meet you Clarke, and what's you're name little man?" I asked as I ruffled his hair.
"Aiden" he replied proudly with a huge, beaming smile.
"How old are you both" I asked as they looked about 7.
"5" they both replied at the same time holding up their hands.
"Wow you guys are only 5..."
"yep" Aiden interrupted popping the p, "were twinies" he said in the most adorable voice ever, just as I was about to speak there was another knock at the door, as I opened it I saw a worried looking woman stood there.
"Can I help you?" I asked as I opened the door slightly.
"I am so sorry to bother you but I saw my children come past this way and I wondered if you had seen them..." as she said this I opened the door fully to reveal Aiden and Clarke.
"These two" I interrupted her as her eyes lit up when she saw the two little cubs.
"Yes thank you, Aiden, Clarke, come here right now, you know not to go running off like that and you know not to interrupt people, now say sorry to this lovely young gentleman."
"Sowy" they both said as they hung their heads and walked towards their mother.
"It's fine I've enjoyed meeting you" ,after that they left and before I knew it my mum and dad were walking in to the room grabbing my bags as it was now 3 pm and time to set off to Alpha Training. I ran as fast as I could to meet Jay and Lexa at the den to say goodbye before I leave for the next 5 years of our lives, a lot can happen in that time.
