"So you, Jayson, and Josiah gone meet up tomorrow and talk?" Jas continued washing the dishes. "No he's coming tonight." I looked around the kitchen. "Carmen too?" She shook her head. "No she's keeping the kids at home."
"It's something about her babe, I can't figure it out." Jas stood washing the dishes and gave me a twisted look. "I know, I picked up the vibe on the bus when I introduced you two. She's bad at hiding facial expressions."
Josiah walked in the house with Nova in her car seat. "How was your first day at work?" He smiled and lifted his hat to scratch his head. "Work was wonderful. I'm ready for my paycheck. My brother is paying me 11.50 an hour. I do a little bit of everything. One minute I'm here, next minute I'm there. I love it."
"So Jo, Diamond talking more or she's still in her own bubble?" He took his hat off and sat it on the table. "She's coming around, we were only on the party bus for about 10 minutes. I haven't saw her smile since." Nova started to whine as she woke up. I watched as Jo carefully lifted her from her seat. "She's still scheduled to get her cast's off next week right?" He cracked a smile as he lifted her in the air. "Yessss and daddy can't wait."
"I have some good news from the officer working on Diamonds case." Jas and Jo both stopped what they were doing to stare at me. "Cam was arrested yesterday in South Carolina."
