Nico at Hogwarts

An ally or an enemy

Nico stormed to his room. He had to get packing quickly. Just then he heard footsteps and Dumbeldore came in. He raised his hands and Nico lowered his sword

"Before you come to conclusions Nico, I must tell you that I am a demigod myself, I am and will be forever a child of Hecate" Dumbledore pronounced the name of his parentage in no more than a whisper, as if he where afraid of who could listen.

"I know you want to bring back someone, who? I do not know, but I will not pry in the matter, all I ask of you is that you help Harry along the way" He said. Nico pondered his possibilities

"You do know that you don't have much time left?" he said after a moment of silence. Dumbledore sighed

"Yes, of that I am aware, but even after I am dead my plan will still go forth." He said, such confidence in his voice made Nico doubt about leaving.

"Dumbledore, who will continue your work after you are gone" He asked

"Severus" Dumbledore whispered. He leaned forward and the candle cast a wicked' shadow across the room. Nico lifted an eyebrow

"Severus?" he asked, a shadow of doubt on his face. "Professor, do you trust him?" Dumbledore nodded. He stood up to leave, but he turned in the doorway

"Two things, one, is that you will have to face them, sooner or later and second, don't you think choking me was excessive?" He left, without waiting for a response from Nico and left him wondering and with the conclusion that Dumbledore looked like a wise man, but was absolutely weird. Still, despite all the assurances Dumbledore gave him Nico couldn't quite trust Severus, it was unnerving and irrational the hate Snape felt towards Harry, and Nico hadn't forgotten his job, protect Harry Potter. He stood and walked to the hall. He whispered 

"Peeves, the ghost king calls upon you" Seconds later Peeves flew in though a wall

"Boss?..." 

"Peeves, I need you to gather information secretly about Severus Snape, gather all the ghost you want, but make sure NOBODY finds out what you are doing. We must know if Severus is really on our side. PD, don't tell Dumbledore, the old man trusts Snape, I on the other hand do not" He gave Peeves a dark look "I don't care how, just find out" with that he turned on his heel and slammed the common room shut.
