"Yo, Minho! Wait up!" A neck long haired brunette made a U-turn to see his buddy, Eunhyuk. Minho wore a Southern Water tribe coat that had polar bear fur in the hood, at the edge of the sleeves, and at the hem. His pants were navy blue and the neck of his jacket was decorated with bear teeth. His boots were slip-ons that had one tassle at the back of each boot with the toes and heels tinted a darker brown than the light cocoa color (A/N: The jacket has no zipper, but it's not open either).

Eunhyuk dragged his feet in the snow as he approached the latter. "I think I found something while me and the others went for a walk. They won't believe me, but guess what I found!" Minho watched as the smaller took out something wrapped in an old cloth. Eunhyuk's hands were outstretched with the package resting in his palms. Minho just quirked an eyebrow in confusion. Eunhyuk frowned when Minho tried to uncover what was inside of the cloth and snatched his hands away. "Yah! I didn't say open it! But trust me, this is something extremely incredible....That I want you to have...." Minho chuckled at his namdongsaeng and his flushed cheeks. "Is there a reason why I shouldn't open it now?" Eunhyuk looked at the package and back at Minho with as much seriousness as possible, leaving Minho taken aback.

"Hyung, if I ever leave and never come back-"

"Wait, you're talking about the Fire Nation raids, aren't you?" Eunhyuk slightly nodded his head in agreement."Eunnie, the Fire Nation hasn't attacked the Southern Water Tribe in forever and-"

"And what? Do really think it's possible for me to stay alive any longer? I bet Mom would say almost the same thing. She would still be worried sick for us treking the tundra alone as many times as both you and I have. She thought that we'd be picked off one by one because of the Fire Nation, and she would go first. And just like that, Mom was taken away like she said. Mom was said to have died on the Fire Nation ship when the other water benders tried to rescue her." A long sigh escaped from Eunhyuk's mouth. "I'm just saying that if I pass too, you'll have something to remember me and mom by." Minho was at a loss for words. He knew that his mom's death wasn't all too clear, but for Eunhyuk to suddenly talk to him about this was unusual. He carefully took the wrapped object from Eunhyuk's hands.

"Remember, don't open it until I pass, okay?" Eunhyuk held out his pinky to interlock it with Minho's. "You have to promise."

"A promise is a promise." Minho stuffed the gift in his pouch. His pouch resided on a rope tied around his waist. Right next to it was a small gourd that hooked onto Minho's waist belt by a brown ribbon to carry Minho's water if he traveled outside of the Water Tribe. The two chuckled at themselves being emotional and stuff.

Until it happened.....

"FIRE NATION!!!!" A Water tribe civilian called out from the outside of the village. In the distance a great cloud of smoke was billowing out of a huge pipe in a metal tower that rested on the body of the ship. The tip split through the mist to reveal the beast in its fear-giving glory. Minho and Eunhyuk rushed to the scene as the ship slowed to a stop with a loud shriek.

The people were panicking and several had dropped everything and went into hiding. The elders and their children grouped around the men exiting the ship. All of them wore firenation armor, but the one in front had no mask on. Her face is gifted with beauty, but the smug look she was giving threw it all away. "Firelord Azula... What reason do you have now as an excuse to infiltrate my tribe?" Hodong, the most respected elder, stepped forward as Eunhyuk and Minho stood with the crowd to watch and hear what Azula wants.
