I get out of bed as my alarm clock went off. ugh 6:00. I groan as I walk to the closet to get me something to wear. I'm not really a morning person. I pick out what's in the multimedia. I grab my hygiene things as I get in the shower. After I get out it's 6:30. School doesn't start till 8:00 but I like to be early. So I just sit in my room and watch tv until 7:00 that's when I go eat my breakfast.

I hear my dad yelling my name
Me- *yells downstairs* yes?
Dad- come down here the food is ready
Me- okay
I put my shoes on and grab my backpack before I walk downstairs.
When I walk downstairs I see Miranda, my dad's girlfriend. I can't stand her.
Me- hey daddy
Dad- hey sweety
I just look at Miranda
Me-dad who cooked
Dad-i did
My eyes widen. I love my dad's cooking. My daddy knows i dont like Miranda.
Dad- naenae say hey to Miranda
Me-*silent*
Dad- KeVonna
He says in a warning tone. This is what he was saying, but didn't say. "Little girl if you don't say hi to this woman imma whoop your little ass". Thank God he didn't say it.
Me- ugh. Hey Miranda
Miranda- hey
Dad *smiles* see pretty soon you'll be calling her momma
Me- *gives death glare*
Dad-*smile fades* too soon?
I shake my head as I make my plate. I sit down and eat as I unzip my backpack and pull out my phone. As we're all eating we hear bangs on the door. I grab my gun out my backpack, and my dad grabs his gun from under the table. Miranda doesn't have one because she's a stupid bitch.
As me and him walk to the door he peaks through the peep hole.
Dad-*yells* who is it.
You can't tell that we have a peep hole from the other side but we do.
???: it's me!
I raise my gun.
Dad- who is me?
???: Melvin
Dad-oh
He starts unlocking the door as I get behind the door. When he opens the door I turn and point the gun at Melvin.
Dad- chill baby girl it's just Melvin
Melvin-*stuttering* y-yea chill it's just me
I put my gun down as I walk away.
Me-*mumbles* damn crack head just ruined my breakfast
Dad- *hears me* *starts laughing* girl just sit down and eat
He gives the crack head some crack. Melvin pays him and he walk back to the table.
Miranda- I don't even know why she has a gun
Me- I don't even know why your here
Dad- *raises voice* y'all need to stop
I put my gun on safety mode and put it back in my back pack
Me- *stands up*daddy I gotta go bye *kisses his cheek* I love you
Dad- I love you too baby girl
I go to my car and head to school
I walk down the hall to see my best friend/cousin kk talking to some boy.
I shake my head and walk to my locker. Kk walks up to me as I get my books out my locker.
Me- who was that?
Kk- you know we got like an hour before class starts.
Me- yes I know now stop avoiding my question.
Kk- who the person I was talking to
Me- naww the person in prison cell 1B *sarcasm*
Kk- oh *blushes* that was ray
Me- but don't you like roc
Kk- aye get out my love life and get your books.
kk starts talking but I tune her out

He starts walking down the hallway. He looks at me and wink. I smile, blush and look down. There he is. My crush. Nathaniel Fernandes. The opp's son. But I will never be able to have him because that's what happens when your the plug's daughter.

Kk lives with us too but she spending the week with her momma.
