Mutants Actually

Chapter Three

Upon arriving at the Laboratory Aaron gave them orders to split up so they each took a different part of the lab to explore.(except for Stiles and Spencer who teamed up) Spencer and Stiles were checking a part of the medicine lab when they saw a door. " alright lets just get this over with come on get inside" Spencer said while pushing Stiles in front of him. The room was dark and led into an even bigger hallway. When they were half way down the hall Spencer Growled in irritation "Stiles would you quit breathing on my neck!" Stiles blanched "Dude i'm in front of you" Spencer stopped walking "then whose...." they both turned around only to be met with the feeling of ice crawling up their bodies until they succumbed to darkness themselves. 

  Neal was walking down a hallway when he heard a noise behind him. He quickly turned and looked around but saw nothing, so he turned back around but continued to cast glances over his shoulders just in case. As he got to the end of the hallway he saw a door and opened it only to be met with coldness and then darkness.

  Derek ran down the hallway he was in, there was someone or something in here with him and he'd rather not meet them. "Neal...Spencer" he called but continued running until he was met with a dead end. He turned around only to see a man in all white with red glasses covering his eyes pointing a gun at him. A scream made its way up his throat but was cut off when the man pulled the trigger causing ice to make it's way up Derek's body freezing him. 

Aaron walked through the hallways of the Lab he tried calling his friends on their communicators but no one was answering. As he got to the end of the hallway he saw Red x trying to punch in a key code to get into a room "Hey Stop" he shouted and threw a starbolt at the thief, who managed to duck just in time his eyes widened behind the mask as he saw who it was. "wow kid you just never give up do you" he said as he ran the opposite direction. Aaron who started to fly after him growled "i'm not a kid" he threw more starbolts at red and one managed to hit him in the side making him fall to the ground in pain. Aaron landed smoothly on the ground and walked over to red X ready to handcuff when he too fell to the ground convulsing in pain. As he twitched in pain and his eyelids grew heavy he saw the one person he never thought was capable of doing something like this. "Dr. Animo?"

When Aaron came to he was tied up back to back with Red x and Dr. Animo was standing above both of them with a miniature TV in his hand "I'm really sorry it had to come to this Aaron, but I warned to you to not trust everyone. Once I learned that you had finally found out who was stealing all the Criptonium I decided to just let you lead me right to him and what do ya know you guys did! And now that I have a room full of Criptonium all to myself I can use it to bring destruction to this ungrateful city and bring it to it's knees. Oh and I almost forgot the best part. I get to keep your friends as trophies! He then set the little TV down and turned it on showing Aaron and Red a live feed of his friends all frozen in blocks of ice. "you'll never get away with this" Aaron said. Dr. Animo smirked at him and pointed at the TV showing the feed of his frozen friends before walking out the door and saying "my dear boy, I already have" the door banging shut behind him. Red x huffed beside him "could you guys get anymore stereotypical"
