"So those are your friends huh, that sucks but what sucks even more is that this nutcase is going to steal all my Criptonium." Red X muttered. Aaron couldn't even find it in himself to glare at the villain to caught up in worrying for his friends. "Alright not because I feel sorry for you but only this once i'm going to make a deal... if I get us out if this and help you save your friends you have to let me get off scot free that means no police no jail no nothing." Red x said rope cutter already in his hand like he knew Aaron was going to agree no matter what. Aaron thought it over in his head but he knew this was the only option ,he couldn't get himself out of here if he tried, his hands were tied behind his back so his starbolts were of no use. "Deal" he said ignoring the smug look he already knew was under the thief's mask. Red X immediately got to work cutting the ropes like it was an everyday occurrence for him which it most likely was. Once they were free Aaron looked over at Red X "I thought you didn't like playing hero" the thief glanced at him "Doesn't mean I don't know how" and with that they were off.

When Aaron and Red reached the main part of the lab they saw Dr. Animo with a laser canon sort of weapon. "what the heck is he trying to do?" Red x questioned. Aaron shook his head in confusion. Dr. Animo who was loading the canon with Criptonium finally noticed them and smiled "oh hey boys I see you made it out of the ropes...what a waste but your  just in time to see the show, I found out where I could test my first shot." he slowly turned the canon and pointed at the frozen titans "NO" Aaron screamed and threw a starbolt right at Animo knocking him off his feet. Red x quickly threw an X at Animo which wrapped around his body rendering him useless. The boys made their way over to Animo and his machine "okay so how do we unfreeze our friends" Red x said. Aaron gave him a look "MY friends, I think what you meant to say was how do we unfreeze my friends. "uh yeah that's totally what I meant don't know where that our came from" Red x replied while scratching his neck. Aaron ignored him and looked at the button on the ray machine and saw the defrost button. He pointed the ray at his friends and hit it. The ice quickly melted from them and his friends stood shivering on the platform complaining about the cold. Red x pulled out a grappling hook ready to make his exit but before he left he spoke "good fight I guess ill see ya around" "yeah I guess you will if you ever want to see your belt again" Aaron said while holding up said belt. Red x quickly looked at his waist that usually had the belt that carried his Criptonium only to see that it was in fact not there. He looked back at Aaron " well played kid, well played" and with that the Grappling hook shot him up to the roof where he finally made his exit. Aaron turned and looked at his friends who were all staring at him in confusion. "well did we win?" Stiles asked Aaron glanced back at where Red x had just been before looking at Stiles again. "Yeah we won."
