~HEYO loveliesssss I'm back. I've been handling my shit and I think I'm ready to start writing again. I'm so nervous about this Friday because we have inspection in JROTC and I'm a squad leader and imma die. Ill shut up so you can read lol love you guys.~

I laid in my bed, staring at the ceiling as my thoughts raced through my head. I was currently listening to teenagers by my chemical romance, humming as the song came to a close. And right on cue, my alarm went off. I sighed and sat up, running a hand through my teal hair.

It was a dark, cloudy day, and I had rifle practice. I'm in JROTC's rifle team at my school, so we kinda have to practice like 3 times a week.

I pulled my pt pants and a random t-shirt out of my drawer and put them on. I grabbed my equipment out of the corner and sighed opening my bedroom door and walking out into the hallway. I saw a figure approaching me and I flinched as he touched my shoulder.

"Hey, you okay?? Why the flip are you up this early??" Jake said.

I sighed and grabbed my head.

"First off, don't fucking scare me like that. Second, I'm going to rifle practice up at my school." I said with a slight chuckle.

Jake nodded and chuckled, "ROTC, I assume??"

I nodded and smiled. He gave me a very brief hug and walked back to his room. I quickly ran out the front door and walked to my school, seeing as how it was walking distance. I was super hype because today was supposed to be the day that I lead the platoon. I walked up to the tennis court with my rifle on my shoulder, seeing that nobody had shown up. I shook my head and whispered, "Once again, individual practice it is...." I set my bag down and slung my rifle off my shoulder onto the ground into the rest position. I quickly kick flipped the rifle into right shoulder arms and started marching forwards. I heard rustling in the leaves to the right of me, but I could've cared less at that moment, I was practicing. I suddenly saw someone at right shoulder arms next to me and I sighed.

"About damn time one of y'all showed up. Why haven't you been coming to practice??" I asked briskly.

"Because this is my first practice. With you, at least.", a familiar voice said in a cocky tone. I looked over and grinned as I saw Jake marching next to me. I stopped and hugged Jake, taking him by surprise. He dropped formation and hugged me back tightly, making sure not to hit me with his rifle. I shivered and looked behind him, seeing a threatening figure running up on Jake.

"JAKE MOVE", I yelled as I threw him out of the way.

The figure let out a yell as they started brutally attacking me and Jake. We fought him off as best as we could and eventually tried to find a way to escape. I punched the person as hard as I could in the side of the head and screamed, "CHEESE IT JAKE, GO GO GO", and we both ran back to the house.

Boy, isn't this just lovely.
