What a disappointment...

Great. I was completely wrong about the guy next door. He isn't your average romantic guy. No, lucky me, he just turned out to be a utter doofus. I sighed realizing that once again my plans to find Mr Perfect were foiled. Maybe, maybe I should just wait for Mr Perfect to find me. Why should I bother looking for him?

I quickly changed out of school clothes into my favourite neon green, sleeveless dressing gown[ I was never one for great fashion choices] and hopped into bed. I quickly glanced over to the guy next-door's window. Swallowing a gasp I read the sheet taped to his window it read: 'By the way, the name is Nate." Smiling drowsily, my vision blurred and I fell into a deep sleep...

"Airie fairy wake up, sugarkins!"

"Mom! How many times have I told you to stop calling me that! " I grumbled.

I swear I could hear Nate laughing next door, great just what I needed. I quickly grabbed a pillow and chucked it through his open window, promptly hitting him square in the face. And that’s when I burst into a fit of laughter.

After following through my daily routine I quickly walked out the front door. Glancing at my watch I realised, if I walked I would reach School 10 minutes late, if I rode on my embarrassing bluey green bike I would reach dot on time. Hmm...

" Oi Airie!" came a familiar irritating voice from next door.

"Catch a ride with me to school? Otherwise you’re going to be late" Nate called in a singsong voice.

"Ugh. Fine" I moaned and hopped into the- might I say quite sleek looking car.

When I was inside I realised just how close in proximity Nate and I were.

"So you ready to go? " he asked his hot breath tickling my ears.

" Yes. You better not make me late!" I growled [yes, like a guy, I have mood changes, I told you im not girly!]

As he strolled along the streets at a leisurely pace, I wished the luxurious drive would never end. It smelled of a faint new car smell mixed with a tinge of mens cologne. Mmm...

Ignoring Nate, I rolled my windows and welcomed the heavy rush of air, whipping through my hair. The wind gently lulled my drowsy, tired self to sleep. Ahhh... this was the life.
