@lilacsummers_: would it really kill you if we kissed?

The first time Summer saw Melanie, it was Summers first day and it was an acting class. Summer locked eyes with Melanie and swore that she almost passed out because of her beauty.

Melanie was wearing the most cutest skirt Summer has ever seen on a girl and her lips were so pretty Summer wanted to make out with her for the rest of her life. Melanie also had a couple tattoos on her and Summer was a total fucking sucker for tattoos on attractive women. The tattoos made Melanie look 482058903% hotter than she already was.

Melanie smiled at her and turned back around to continue talking to her friends and Summer's face turned a bright red as she sat down in the back row next to a kid who was sleeping since it was really the only seat left open.

Summer should've known that being the new girl in the middle of the school year would cause her to get up in front of the class and introduce herself. She had done that in her other classes but seeing Melanie threw Summer off so much she completely forgot her own name.

So when Summer got called up to go on the stage and introduce herself, she did, but then the teacher told her to do it in a louder voice because if there was a room full of 200 people then they wouldn't be able to hear her. So she did it again.

Summer repeated herself about five times before she was told she finally got it right and to go back to her seat.

The class started off with improv because the teacher wanted to start off with something simple. The teacher called up three people. Carly, Zach, and her. Summer found out her name was Melanie that day and made a mental note to remember that in case she ever had the guts to even talk to her.

The scene took place in a five star restaurant where Melanie was the expert cook, Carly was the waiter, and Zach was a food critique from the New York Times.

The scene started off slow, but then things started picking up when Melanie was bringing the food out and 'spilt' it all over Zach causing to Carly to 'throw up'. Summer giggled throughout that scene.

The spilt of the food also caused Melanie to bend down and get on her knees. Summer heard the boy next to him swear under his breath and several other guys to snicker and smirk at their other guy friends in the class. And Summer swore that when they all went off stage at the end of the scene to sit back down in their seats, Melanie looked over at Summer and gave a slight smirk.

That same day during lunch, Melanie went over to Summer to spark a conversation.

"Hi there! Summer, right?"

Summer nodded her head, not entirely sure why this girl that she developed a crush on the first day of school was talking to her.

"I'm Melanie, but you probably already knew that."

Summer nodded again.

"Wow! You don't talk much."

"S-Sorry."

"And it speaks!"

Summer gave a nervous smile.

"Feel like I might be creeping you out a bit. Sorry about that. Just like meeting new people is all!"

"It's fine."

"So....Mind if I sit down?"

"Go ahead."

"Cool! Thanks." Melanie sat down across from Summer.

Summer was mentally freaking out. She didn't know what the hell this girl wanted from her and just wanted this embarrassing feeling of her being so damn awkward to stop.

"This might sound a tad weird but I got you a cupcake! There's no poison in it, I swear." Melanie handed her a vanilla cupcake with blue frosting on the top.

"Did you make it?"

"Nah, my friend Jonathan did. It's his birthday so he has just been handing out cupcakes like he's Oprah Winfrey!"

Summer laughed.

"You get a cupcake! And you get a cupcake! Everyone gets a cupcake!"

Summer laughed even more.

"Hoe, you better not be talking about me over there!" Jonathan yelled across the room.

Melanie stood up and flicked him off before sitting back down to face Summer.

Summer's laughing died down. She grabbed the cupcake that was in the middle of the table and started nibbling on it.

"Cool! You're eating the cupcake. I got one too so we can both be food critics."

"Like the one in acting class?"

"Exactly Summer! Except we are real critics and have actual food."

They ate their cupcakes in silence with the occasional look at each other without the other noticing. Summer noticed by the time they both finished their cupcakes, Melanie had a small amount of frosting on her lip and Summer would not stop staring at her lip.

"You have a little..." Summer pointed at her lip.

"Mhm?"

"Frosting. You have frosting on your lip."

"Here?" Melanie licked the opposite side of her mouth.

" No, um, over here." Summer tried to point on her own lips where the frosting was on Melanie's lips.

"Here?"

Summer was starting to think she was doing this purpose.

"Where is it?"

"It's, uh, um, I'll get it." Summer moved closer towards Melanie and used her sleeve to get the frosting. While she was wiping the frosting off, Summer could absolutely tell that Melanie was smirking and her face was starting to become a tomato. If Summer really wanted to, she could kiss Melanie right there but as soon as Summer wiped off the frosting, Melanie is being pulled away.

"Mel! Jesus, we're gonna be late for class!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming."

Melanie waved off her friend telling her that she'll be right behind her.

"I'll see you tomorrow, cool?"

"Yeah, cool."

Melanie smiled and ran off with her friend.

Summer got off to that sight of her on her knees that night.
