I threw myself on to my bed in my temporary house. I threw my mask on to the side table.

God I'm not even tired.

The door to my apartment opened. I grabbed my bow and jumped back.

"I'm completely at your mercy." It was Cheshire, my friend.

"God, Chesh don't scare me like that, I thought that it was that ginger arrow knock off had followed me home." I said lowering my bow.

"Red arrow, so you met him huh?" Cheshire asked sitting down on my bed.

"I like ginger better, but if you want to call him Red arrow be my guest." I said taking off my wig.

My black hair dropped down to my thighs. Cheshire removed her mask. She was now herself, Jade

"I'm crashing here ok? I'll be on the couch." Jade said.

"Yeah that's cool, it's just a temporary place until I join the Junior Justice League." I said.

She sat down on the couch. "Starting small to gain trust, smart." Jade said.

"Yeah I just hope it works." I said lying back on my bed. Jade yawned.

"Well I hope it all works out, it will be in favor of the light if you were to mess up things on the inside." Jade said before turning over and going to sleep.

I stared at the ceiling.
