CHAPTER 1: THE BEGINNING

And this is our new home my father had said happily. I listened as I watched the bushyness of his mustache, the one I had named squirrel as a little boy. I am 16 and my name is Ted. My father quickly pulled into the curved driveway to the new place we'd call home for at least a year or so. As we started unpacking our boxes from our big rental uhaul there was this grim face I thought I had saw out the corner of my eye. My father looked over and said, you seem really suspicious, what's wrong son? Oh nothing just swing things again. Oh father replied in complete sarcasm.

BEFORE DINNER

Ring ring... I heard the phone blair out loud. I answered the phone and said hello. The person on the other line ignored it was just complete silence. I hung up in with a feeling of hate. I went to go help my mother set the table and set out our dinner for the night. Sniff, ahhh the sweet lovely smell of spaghetti and meatballs. As I was setting the table I saw something staring at me through the window. I stared back with 100 percent curiosity. The "stalker" staring in through the window was in a black cloak with a white mask. The eyes having no ending and no good spirit in the persons life. I turned and called for my mom but when I looked back he was gone. I then continued on with setting the table. I still wondered who was the man staring in my window?

DINNER

So Ted, your mother and I have decided you will be going to
Arapahoe high school this year. I sat there in complete silence as my parents continued on with their yearly talk on where I'd school where everything is and how to get around. It was the same old thing once again. Vrrr. I took a peek at my cell phone to see who had messaged me and why they'd be messaging around dinnertime.

HELLO TED,

YOU HAVE BEEN SPOTTED BY ONE OF MANY STRANGERS AND THEY WILL COME ONE BY ONE EVERY NIGHT UNTIL YOU AND YOUR FAMILY DIE OR GET OUT OF HERE!!!

YOURS TRULY, STRANGER 003.

TED! What I said in a stutter. What are you doing? Asked father. I answered, I just got this strange text message. I think it was a threat. Let me see my mom said as she grabbed the phone in curiosity. So, where's this strange text message? She asked. I swear there was this weird text message saying we'd be attacked every night until we leave or die. Ted I think you've just had a very stressful day, how about you just go to bed and we'll see you in the morning both my parents had said in a strict tone of anger. I walked upstairs angry. Angrier than I had ever been at my parents for always wanting to move around, and now I'm here being threatened??? What's wrong with me. Good night diary.
