You ever wonder where spirits go once they leave their body? The answer's nowhere.
They stay right here, by us. But we can't see them for they're the Unseen. That's a good thing because you wouldn't want to see them. Souls without a body are creatures of horrific and monstrous physique. Years pass, centuries pass, but they remain stuck in this terrible realm of eternity. It drives them mad, crazy. All they can do is drag more human souls into their realm for company.
They're behind you, in front of you, above you, under you, all around you. They're flocking you, in fact banging and scratching your body but you can neither see or feel them. Yet.
Sometimes, you get vague signs. Flickering lights, Scratching noises, whispers, etc. They are the dead presences trying to reach out to you. Have you ever closed your eyes for a moment in the shower and felt like there's someone standing right in front of you? Have you ever found unknown scars or bruises on your body which you have no idea came from where? Yep.
The only vent through which they can truly reach out to you is your fear. The more they scare you, the more they know they're winning. The closer they get to you. The more you can feel their presence.
And in case you're wondering, I'm one of the Unseen. And I'm watching you. You're beautiful.
