I'm so sorry about the wait but if it makes any difference the chapter is 2904 words so it's actually the longest chapter so far with the second longest being the one before. I would like to start setting goals and if the story hits these goals the next chapter will be uploaded faster.

Goal for this Chapter is:

Fiorella's POV

Within an hour, a gigantic crowd of people were gathered around him. The silence was constricting, and deadly. Each person, row on row, looking up with a scowl, a frown or a grimace. Droplets of sweat beading up on their foreheads, slowly trickling their way down faces. Yet no one complained.

Raphael stepped up onto a lone log, which I had not noticed on my first glance of the area. At once the few whispers there were, were gone. "As you all are aware, there were Richi sighted not too far from our border."

At that news there were a few scattered gasps around the area. "B-but Alpha, What did they want?" a man... no boy speaks up from the back row.

"They are accusing us of harbouring the last tora!"

At once the crowd breaks out into mumbles, as everyone turns to their neighbour in outrage. Mutters of 'why' and 'how' drift their way to my ears.

"Silence!" Raphe shouts, his voice going deeper with his command.

"We will be doubling the border patrols as well as a introducing a curfew of 10pm, where everyone must be in their homes and that is all" he surveys the crowd a blank expression on his face much different to this morning's face and attitude.

"You are all dismissed" and before he even fully finished his sentence the clearing is clear and silent. With only a few choosing to loiter around, chatting in small groups.

"Do you want to go out for lunch?" he asks turning to me, his face softened considerably to when he was speaking to the crowd. I just give a brief nod as he snakes his arm around my back, pulling me closer.

We trudge our way through the forest making our way slowly back to his house. Glancing up at him, I see him looking down at me and as quick as I glanced up I glance away.

"So..." I trail off looking to my left, making sure not to glance at him "Where are we going out for lunch?" he just shrugs his shoulders and mumbles something about it being a surprise and leans down and nuzzles his head in the side of my neck. Purring fills the air as he nuzzles closer, breathing deeply.
