chapter 9

shamsiya's pov

its cold but I still have to make it to tutti frutti , why didn't I just call the driver to come .  I just ran until I got to tutti frutti I walked in and took a seat . I waited for like three minutes then suddenly a worker at tutti frutti comes to meet me and ask me to leave if am not buying anything , I then  said I will buy something I am waiting for someone to come before I buy anything . she just rolled her eyes and hissed at me then she left . I then whispered how rude.

musadiq's pov

I was halfway to tutti frutti then the sun started shining , I really like that about NIGERIA how the sun was always out and about . I finally  made it to tutti frutti , I got in and scanned the whole room for shamsiya then I saw her sitting in the corner looking at her phone . I walk towards her direction and said hi shamsiya .

leo's pov

my dad was really mad about  the car incident I jus did not know what to tell him so I left the house as early as possible . I have been wondering about ,so I decided to make a stop for tutti frutti . I walk in and order frozen yogurt with lots of gummy bears in it . I walk towards an empty  seat then I see shamsiya with that Pakistani dude from Friday !!!! . I was not happy , I was angry so I decided  to go meet them . shamsiya had  this guilty look but I still had to ask   what are you doing here with him ???shamsiya . she then said leo its not what it looks like , then I said oh if its not what it looks like then .....shamsiya cut me wait a minute leo I was just hanging out  with my friend and your just accusing me of being unfaithful. I then said well you are is this why you said I should give you some space ,. shamsiya replied and said ugh your so selfish and inconsiderate you think its all about you you you !! . I turned and realised that  everyone at the restaurant was staring at us . I then say shamsiya its over between us its over !! . I stormed out and never looked  back .

musadiq's pov

I couldn't believe what just happened did shamsiya just break up with leo or was I dreaming then I could see shamsiya almost crying , I took her out of tutti frutti and decided to walk her home . when we got to shamsiya's house she asked me to come in . I was a bit scared considering the fact that her parents might be home . shamsiya then told me her parents are abroad and she lives alone but she still sees them once in a while . I wish ummu was here to see this to see the fact that shamsiya doesn't live with her parents but she does but takes advantage of them . the house was huge but shamsiya took me to the kitchen . she asked me if I would like to stay for lunch it then hit me that it was almost lunch time . I then said oh shamsiya I promised my mom that I would be back in time for lunch but I promise you I would eat dinner here tomorrow . then shamsiya said okay she smiled which was something I haven't seen in a while . I hugged shamsiya and left.   I ran home because I had 30 minutes to get ready for lunch  , when I got home I saw mom and ummu in the kitchen working together , they were making samosa , spring rolls , chicken wings and curry . I wanted to know what was going on because  ummu never liked to work in the kitchen even when we were in England she barely helped mom just once in a while . I walked closer and greeted them both then I noticed large suitcases behind her . mom saw that I was surprised she then told me that ummu is not going back to boarding for the next three months , that was sad because ummu drives me crazy with her personality but she is sill my sister and I still love her . mom told me that she and dad are travelling to AMERICA  for two months for a two month long conference . I was startled then dad comes in and says its because we just moved here  that's why we decided not to take you too with us , your sister is in charge and I suppose your mom gave you your card . I replied and said yes . then dad said after lunch we are living for the airport , its going to be alright ummul-khulthum will take care of you . I frowned because that's what I am afraid of.
