"Look Joanna! A house!" Nick said excitedly. It was an apartment building so went decided to go in. Me and Hannah went in first.
"Hello, nice sir." I said to a man at the front desk.
" Hello, little people." He said.
"What room?"
"Uh, I guess 24, yeah, room 24!"I said.
BEEP!
"Hello, Micheal, three little people need to see, may I send them up?"
"Uh , yes I guess, thank you Mr.Babcock." we walked to the elevator.
"Are you guys scared?". I asked.
"No, why would we?"
"What happens if this is really dad!"
DING!
"We're here let's go!". We walked to the door that said "24." We knocked and a man that looked like Nick opened it.
"Hello kids, Uh welcome to my house, and um who are u kids, you look like you are homeless, come in sit at the table would you like something to drink?" He said.
" Yes please and let me introduce myself and my siblings."
I'm Joanna I'm 13 and this is my sister Hannah and little brother Nick, we have been homeless for 5 years. Out on the cold streets of NYC. Our mom left us here one day, she tried to kill my father, she took drugs, so we became hopeless.
"Why that's sad, I used to have wife, and three beautiful, talented kids, they looked like you kids. He said.
" Um, sir do u think your out dad?
"Oh kids that's not true and it can't be, that was years ago." He said.
The out of nowhere the doorbell rang. A woman with blond hair and blue eyes, and wearing a nice light pink dress came to the door and said "Hi sweetie, are we still going out tonight?"
