" I'm serious! I really did see her!" I proclaimed."The blue-haired freak! You were out in the yard asleep like a log! Remember?"
I looked forlornly at the large grey hound rolling around.
" Gary! Answer me!" I patted his snout and shook him hard, i was really lonely. I needed someone to talk to. But a simple woof was it's mere response as Gary came over to lick my fingertips.
" Oh Gary. Who am i kidding? You wouldn't remember such things,would you?" I sighed. " I wish i didn't too."
The recounts of the events on Christmas Eve "conveniently" gave me countless sleepless nights , bugging me at every chance it got.
" What should i do? What should i do?!" I tugged at my already messed up hair. A week had past and i still could not get over it.
"Woof!" Gary barked and went to fetch my box of colour pencils, and dropping it gently in front of me as if not wanting to break any if of the precise sharp points of the lead. I raised an eyebrow.
"Woof! Woof!" Gary pushed it closer towards me.
I laughed. Gary always knew how to cheer me up.
"Woof!" Gary barked again.
"Okay okay chill boy! What do you want me to draw?" I rubbed his back but stopped abruptly reacting to the navy haired personnel that flashed across my mind. I gave a resigned sigh. "The uninvited guest on Christmas?" I frowned, trying hard to remember what she looked like.
"Oh well. Here goes." Slowly the face formed , then the weird Gothic apparel, then the inches high boots and lastly those navy locks. I did one last scrutinizing , shivering ever so slightly at the uncanny resemblance before filling in the colours starting with yet again the face.
'"WOOF!" Gary barked a really loud bark at my piece of work .I chuckled.
"See? Told you she was creepy." I dropped my navy blue pencil and lifted the paper up, turning it round and round.
"Hey wait a minute. I think I've seen her before."
Gary cocked his head to the side.
"I mean yeah I've seen her before but she looks familiar...." I scratched my head." Ugh. You know what? Who cares."
I picked up the dark blue pencil again and started sharpening the lead. All the navy blue sharpening came out of the other side and onto the floor. Navy blue....Navy blue.....Navy blue.... Then it hit me. I gasped as another navy haired figure flashed through my mind. No, not the one that nearly scared me to death on Christmas, but rather the little one in Amsterdam. The one I call Z.
My whole face turned pale. Gary winced and started licking me. I froze. This was like.. Deja Vu.
"Gary! Do..Do.. Do you think Z and that other Christmas freak are related ??" I gasped even louder.
" But..But... But... How can it be possible?!" My head was really really dizzy. Now , i was honestly even more petrified and shocked than on Christmas. I gulped and look around my typically deserted home resting at every dark corner that came to vision. My hair stood on its ends.
"Oh Gary. Help me.." I hugged the huge fur ball as tight as i could. I never felt so afraid, so confused.
The gentle breezed tussled with my hair as the familiar melody that I have not heard in a year began to play... faster and faster, I was lifted higher and higher.
Within seconds, I was no longer beside Gary.
I was... I was...
Where was i ???
