The sun beamed in my eyes as I let a groan escape my lips. I grabbed a hold of the cover trying to put it over my head, but couldn't because Blake was laying on my back. I don't even know when he got there. Going against sleeping, I maneuvered my way around him and headed to the bathroom. I made it quick as usual, I only take long showers when someone else is in with me. I walked into my closet and stood there before deciding on an outfit. I went with a Versace gold shirt, a pair black leather sweat pants, and a pair of constructs. As much as I wanted to spend the day with Nova and Blake, I couldn't. I had to work on the album. I treaded back into my room, Blake was now wide awake.
"You feel better?" I asked him placing my hand on his head. He just nodded.
"I'm hungry." Blake said looking me directly in the face. Mayne, he look just like me.
"You always hungry." I resorted looking back at him causing him to laugh.
"How about we make your mom breakfast?" I suggested.
"No food here." he stated with his eyebrow cocked. I totally forgot there was no food here.
"How about we go get food and come back and cook it." I didn't know the first thing about cooking, but I was willing to try.
"Otay." Blake chimed back.
I put Blake in the tub then got him dress. Thank god I picked him up a few things when I went shopping or he wouldn't have anything to wear. I finished tying his shoes and he jumped of the bed.
"Shhh, be quiet before you wake up your mom." He shook his head yes placing his index finger on his mouth. He then tip toed out the room, causing me to chuckle. I glanced at Nova once more before leaving.
I heard everything she said last night. I'm assuming she was talking to Bri. She said she loved me but she couldn't trust me. Honestly, that hurt alot. I trust her. Why can't she trust me? I know the whole Ashley thing looked like something it wasn't. Besides that she had no reason not to trust me. Regardless, she still loved me. That's better than nothing.
We pulled up to the store. I got Blake out and we treaded in hand and hand. I decided on getting the basics. I grabbed some bacon and placed it in the basket I was carrying along with the eggs, pancake mix and fruit. Blake had placed nothing but candy into the basket.
"How about this, daddy?" Blake asked holding up a bag of dum-dum lollipops.
"Okay, that's the last thing you getting." I told him.
We made our way to the checkout and of course there was only two lines open. So I had no choice but to wait in one of these long ass lines. I was trying to get in and out before someone noticed me.
It took about twenty minutes to check out. Blake was becoming impatient, thank god we were almost home now. I walked in with Blake trailing behind me, and placed the bags on the counter. I took everything out and sat there for a minute. I didn't have a clue what to start with.
I decided on Skyping my mom. I haven't talked to her in about third weeks now. The whole reason I brought her the computer was to Skype me. I grabbed my Mac and placed it on the countertop. I called and waited for it to connect.
"Gigi" Blake nearly yelled as my mom's face appeared on the screen.
"Hey, baby." She resorted with a big smile on her face.
"Momma, how you know Blake?" I intervened.
"I guess Nova didn't tell you."
"Nah, she didn't." I felt like I was the last one to know about Blake. Shit, probably because I was the last one to know. I couldn't even be mad at Momma for not telling me. I knew she had to have a good reason, so I didn't press the subject. I smiled watching Momma and Blake interact.
