Author's Note:
One of the BEST series I have EVER watched and read. Worth your time. Watch the Godfather.
"Jules", Jason called from down the hall.
"Shit! You got to hide!", I hissed to Danny, who was sprawled across my bed. "What's he going to do? Sit on me?"
I hid the smile forming on my face. "No..."
"Then what's the big deal?"
"What's the big deal? Haven't you met my family?" But he didn't get a chance to reply.
"Lorelei needs--" Jason burst into my room and immediately his expression changed, a scowl forming on his face. "What the fuck is going on?", he snapped eyeing Danny next to me, one arm on my thigh. I felt Danny tense up. Cue snappy comment from my annoyed boy friend. "None of your business."
"Jason.", I interrupted their glare-down. "What does Mom need?"
"She needs your red button up coat.", he said not taking his eyes off Danny, like he hoped his glares would make his head explode telepathically.
"Alright. I'll be down in a minute.", I said getting off the bed and pushing him towards the open door. I struggled to shut the door behind him but, he slammed it wide open, crushing my efforts, with a snappy "It stays open!", before walking away.
"Maybe you should leave, Danny...", I mumbled
"Why? Because of your brother? I can take him."
"You can't take them both."
"Do you want me to leave?", he asked a little crestfallen.
"No! Of course not. I want to keep you here, in my room and hide you in my closet.
"Delightful.", Danny chuckled, laying down on his back.
"I'm serious.", I climbed onto the bed next to him.
"So if you really did have me here, what would you do with me?", he asked, smirking.
I giggled and crawled over him, straddling his hips.
"Well for starters, I'd kiss you every possible second."
I leaned over his face, wisps of my dark hair falling across his cheeks. He tucked them behind my ear and cupped me face, bringing me closer to him. I could almost taste his delicious lips against my own.
"Jules!", Jason yelled from downstairs, ruining this beautiful moment. Great! would I ever have a minute alone with my boy friend to actually spend time with him?
"Alright pip squeaks!", Tyson said clincking his glass ever so professionally. It was dinner, but the only ones at the table were Nate, Tyson, Jason, Steph and I. "As most of you know, Jason and I are celebrating our birthday in two days and that means that we're throwing a party and as usual you -", he said gesturing the rest of us. "-are not invited."
"Oh, the humanity", Steph exclaimed in despair.
"I know, I know it really must suck to be you. Now, all of you are required to find a place of accommodation for the night. How you accomplish it is not our problem, but you are to make yourself scarce. Capiche?"
"Aye aye cap'n", Nate mock-saluted Tyson.
"Now--", he went on talking but I zoned out.
The twins' party was literally the party of the year, every year, since forever. Of course it meant that the rest of us would lack proper shelter for a couple of hours, while the twins did everything short of hire prostitutes to make sure that their party was off the chain. It also meant that the next day, the twins were grounded for a month for destroying some piece of furniture and/or vehicle.
