((Lu's POV))

There was a scream. That was the start of it all. There was an explosion nearby and then the man named Ciel picked me up and carried to his house. After he put me down, he went through everything in his house before pulling out a couple of swords, or, what appeared to be swords. He put them in a holster on his back and then kneeled down to my level.

"Lu. I need you to stay by my side, no matter what, okay?" He told me. I nodded and he smiled slightly. That's when there were more screams, closer to us. We turned to look out the window, and the entire town was on fire. Ciel stood up and pushed me behind him. It was a good thing too, because that's when the house was smashed to rubble around us. I looked up and gasped seeing several demons standing there.

"Well hello again Lady Luciela. It's nice to see you again." A female demon with large black wings said with a small smirk. She was wearing a very revealing outfit that showed off her large breasts. Her hair was a very bright red, like the color of blood, with eyes to match. In her hands, she held a rather large scythe. The silver blade reflected the fires around it, but, the red was of a much darker hue, which didn't frighten me as it should have. She and that scythe of hers looked so familiar...

The demon walked towards Ciel and me, but Ciel would have none of that and pushed us back. For every step she took, we took two. She eventually stopped and hissed at Ciel.

"Give us the girl and you won't be harmed." She tried bargaining. Ciel shook his head with determination. She then smiled and dropped her scythe, extending her wings and fluttering to Ciel before lifting his chin slightly.

"Please sir. We would do anything for the girl. A handsome young man, such as yourself, shouldn't have to look after such a young girl. She'd only slow you down. Won't you please give her to us?" She said in a tone that, for some reason, I was completely familiar with: she was trying to seduce him! Luckily, he didn't fall for it.

"Give her to a demon, much less a succubus like you? Heh, don't make me laugh." He hissed at her, pushing her away before pulling out the swords, which I could now see were actually a combination of a gun and a blade, and rushed at her.

"Lady Karis!! Watch out!!!" A familiar feminine voice said, before revealing herself by stepping forward. She had ice blue eyes, long blue hair and pale skin. 'Natiran?' I thought to myself, wondering how I knew her name. Obviously she knew this succubus, cause she pulled out a stunning, pale blue sword and blocked Ciel's attack against the the succubus.

"Lady Karis, get Lady Luciela and end this NOW!" Natiran said. The demon, apparently named Karis purred in delight.

"With pleasure." Seconds later, she summoned her scythe once more and took off to the sky for a moment, I thought she had fled. Seconds later, I was thrown off my feet and knocked back, hitting a wall that was still partially intact. My vision went blurry as I saw Karis walk towards me. In the not-so-far distance, I heard Ciel yell what I had told him was my name, Lu.

One moment, Karis was walking towards me, the next she was gone and the sound of metal clashing against metal was closer to me than before. As my vision cleared, I saw why: Ciel was fighting Karis, but he was losing. He fought as hard as he could, countering every opportunity he saw, but, he was weakened badly. Seeing him hurt like he was, I started remembering similar scenes... Slowly, but surely, I could feel some of my lost magic flow back into me as I started remembering everything. That's when there was a flash of fuchsia light. One second Ciel was fighting, the next, I saw him in front of me, pierced through the heart with the light beam. But I knew in that instant, it wasn't just a light beam, but a magic specifically made to kill demons and it was meant for me.

"CIEL!!!!"
