Dear Pandora

Chapter Two

"Hey! Pandora, you're walking too fast. What's wrong?" Simone said concerned as she tried to catch up with Pandora. "I'm fine Simone, just don't worry about me. Get to your class before you're late." Simone looked at Pandora extremely perplexed. Had Pandora gone a little bit mad? "Erm Pandora, it's Week 2 First Period... We're in the same History class, remember!" If anything they were both quite confused, Pandora was not acting normal. "We don't have History, we have Physics!" They stopped in the middle of the hallway, they stared at eachother, luckily Kendall came to them. "Hey guys what's up! You guys are staring at eachother like a mirror, people are looking." Pandora rolled her eyes because she was still in a bad mood. "Kendall, please tell Pandora what we have first!" Even Kendall laughed because this was their second term in 10th Grade. "Guys, we have History, you're supposed to know this!" Simone gave Pandora a side glance and they tugged her by the arm and they went to History class.

 Simone, Pandora and Kendall have been friends for almost 13 years now after going to pre-school together and being in the same class through primary school and secondary school. Simone was quite short with dark chocolate brown hair and icy blue eyes that matched perfectly with her small pink lips. She was the brainier of the three, A in Physics, A in Chemistry, A in whatever subject you ask about. Kendall was taller than Simone but a few inches shorter than Pandora. Her caramel brown hair waving down her spine and her sweet hazel eyes that shone brightly when the Sun touched it. She was an absolute fashionista, already experienced in modelling. Pandora was tall and slim, she was the captain of the netball team but was not extremely popular but a lot of people wanted to be her friend. Her black glossy hair was as shiny as the stars in the night sky, her mocha brown eyes were a solid texture which complimented her rose red lips.

 "Come along girls, the bell went 30 seconds ago!" Mr Sterling chuckled. Pandora was still confused. Was she confused because of her actions to her mum this morning? Or did she just wish her mum dead? "Right your homework is not that big it's to bring your parents in. You have two weeks in advance to tell your parents, either one of them. It doesn't matter what they are, they could be a doctor, pilot, bin man, shop-assistant, what ever they are but they must tell us the importance of their jobs." Pandora's heart sank, she couldn't let people know about her mother, she was an embarrassment to Pandora. What was she going to do? Anyway, it's not like it was compulsory. "And anyone who fails this project will get a detention." The whole class groaned, just when Pandora thought she had it sewed up! As soon as she got home she hide the letter as far away as possible from her mum. It's not like she'll be able to see it with one eye, she thought. "Pandora, I'm home!" She panicked and frantically put the letter under her pillow. Out of reach from her mum, or so she thought...
