He doesn’t need to know how much this is actually hurting me. “Alice, what are you doing?” He asks me. “What am I doing? I should be asking you that.” I say he starts to speak but I stop him. “You know what? I don’t want to hear it, save it for someone who will believe your lies. We’re done.” I say and walk away glaring at the both of them. I walk into the locker room and grab my bag and walk away from the football field.
My name is Alice Carper. My mother and father are dead; they have been since I was six years old. I am now seventeen years old. I have two lives, at home and school I am the perfect teenage daughter. The girl, who is popular, has good grades and the girl who has the best of friends. Outside of school though is a whole different story. I’m not going to tell yet you’ll have to read my story. Then there is Tristan Chambers, the new badass of my school. He’s the bad boy, the trouble maker. All the girls want him, all the boy’s want to be him. Me? I want nothing to do with him, but that all changes when something happens and he just happens to be there. Now he wants to know my secret but I want to know his secret in return.
