Double Dates And Publicity- Harry/Liam

Chapter 8

Harrys POV:

I'm sitting with Shannon at the bar but I can't help my eyes from wondering over to Jayde. She's absolutely gorgeous and her laugh, wow. Don't get me wrong, Shannon is great company and she's a lovely girl, but when I first saw Jayde, I wanted to know more about her. Seeing her with Liam kind of hurts and by the looks of it, it's hurting Shannon too. I'm guessing I'm not her favourite member of one direction.

"Do you wish you were with Liam over there right now?" I ask suddenly, taking her by surprise. She nods sadly.

"Do you wish you was with Jayde right now?" She asks, raising her eyebrows playfully.

"Yeah" I laugh slightly. How did this happen?

"Let's go over and sit with them, I know for a fact that she'd rather be spending time with you right now." she smiles, grabbing her drink and getting up off the bar, walking over to their table. I follow behind her.

"Hey guys" she smiles. Liam looks directly at her and Jayde looks up at me, i give her a smile and sit down next to her, not looking away. She's actually flawless.

I'm so tempted to ask her if she would like to dance, but I don't know if Liam is into her or not and I don't want to hurt his feelings if he is. God this sucks, I wish I got to her first, when she fainted before, instead of Liam. Everything would be different now.

"So Jayde, Liam, how are things going with you too?" I decide to ask.

"Not too bad" Liam winked "why'd you ask?" I think he knows where this is going.

"I just wanted to know if Jayde would like to dance?" I questioned, looking at Jayde, Liam nudges her arm, she looks at him with wide eyes but doesn't back down, before I knew it Jayde was waiting for me on the dance floor.

I took her small body in mine before looking back at Liam, him and Shannon seem to be engaging in conversation, I instantly feel happy with myself. This is how it should be.
