~ Maya POV ~
My ringtone woke me up. Adda just got in front of my apartment with a big bag of groceries in one hand and her bag in the other.
-You didn’t have to do any shopping. My dad took care of that.
-I’m pretty sure he didn’t buy beer and cigarettes. She said laughing.
-You’re right. Only healthy food and sweets…I found out his name.
-Finally! How?! Who is he? Where is he from?
I looked at her as if I was waiting for her to answer her own questions, although I knew there was no chance of that happening. I got comfy on the chair, I lit a cigarette and told her what I dreamt. From the conclusions I got to and Adda’s analyze of my dream, he had to be Korean. We looked at each other and Adda suddenly started jumping up and down of joy saying:
-So in about a month you’ll meet him. I’ll make sure you’ll meet him!
-If he actually exists! I told her with a sad smile.
-Yea, if he actually exi…HEY! I thought I told you to stop being so pessimistic!
-I’m not pessimistic, I’m realistic!! You still can’t differentiate them?
Although I didn’t know the real motive, we both started to laugh. We made plans regarding our trip, we cooked and sat in front of the laptop determined to have a “k-drama week”. “Queen In hyun’s man” seemed exactly what we needed.
~~~~~.~~~~~
In two weeks we were done with all our exams and the never ending pile of documents we needed to prepare before we left; we put our bags in a taxi and headed towards the airport. We had a stop in Moscow but didn’t get a chance to look around because we had to embark in a few minutes. We looked at each other disappointed when we saw that a seat was separated our seats. The guy that was in that seat had dark-hair and black eyes. He was wearing a black t-shirt, a white hip-hop cap, jeans and a pair of white sneakers. I showed him my most precious smile and asked him in english if he could switch seats.
-Of course! He approved smiling while looking me in the eyes.
-Thank you very much! I answered smiling back.
I sat and got comfortable when suddenly I hear someone talking to me in Korean. When I turned I saw the guy with whom I just switched seats.
-Oh, you’re going to Korea too! Are you going to sightsee?
-We plan on sightseeing as well but we’re going to Korea on a student-trading program. We’re going to study there for a year.
-Interesting…I’m HakWoon! What are your names?
-I’m Maya and this is my best friend Adda.
-You said student-trading which means you can’t be more than 24 years old, right?
-22 to be exact! I said giggling.
We both started to laugh. He had that certain something that could make you feel comfortable around him. I got to find out more about him through our talk. He was a choreographer and was coming back from the U.K. where he worked on a choreography for an artist. I hoped that the people I was going to meet along this year would be just as friendly as him.
