Vics POV
I can't believe today is mine and Kellin's one year anniversary. He's helped me so much, like when I was diagnosed with brain cancer but it was stage one so I started chemo and eventually got rid of it. Or the time I was kicked out of my house because I was gay. He never left me even when things got really rough.
Today after my routinely check ups with Dr. Preciado, I did something I've been wanting to do for a long time. So which is why I'm in an engagement store right now picking out an engagement ring for Kellin. I hope he says yes, I have no clue what I'd do without him.
I picked out a simple black ring that was engraved on the inside and said "Without you there is no me." with a small heart. After I paid for it I left the store, got into my car and drove home to my wonderful boyfriend.
I knocked on the door and soon enough there was my gorgeous Raven haired boyfriend, he had beautiful baby blue eyes that complimented his pale, porcelain like skin. As soon as he saw me, he engulfed me into a hug then pulled back and kissed my lips. I immediately kissed back. It was a sweet kiss. He lips were so soft.
"Can I talk to you?" I said
"Sure, babe." Kellin said. He took my hand and we sat on his white sofa in the middle of our apartment. It was small and simple but as long as I had him, it was perfect.
I pulled him into my lap and held his hands.
"I don't know how to say this but Kells you have been there for me through everthing. You have never hurt me. I know that you are my soul mate. You taught me how to love when I thought I would never find someone to love or even someone to love me. So Kellin I have to ask you something Will y-" I was interrupted when my phone started ringing, Kellin got off of me.
"I'm so sorry babe, It's Dr. Preciado and he never calls after 6. This will take just a minute, one second." I quickly answered my phone and walked outside.
"Hello?"
"Hi, Mr. Fuentes, I have to give you some news about your lab results."
"Okay.." I said with worry.
"It seems your brain tumor has come back, I don't know why but I'm so sorry. I need you to come back tomorrow after noon so I can do some more tests."
I was shocked. This couldn't be happening now, not when I was about to propose to Kellin.
"Alright, will do. Bye Dr." I didn't wait for a reply and hung up because I was so upset. I went back inside and was faced with a happy smiling Kellin.
Tears stared forming in my eyes and Kellin rushed over to me. "Babe! What's wrong?!" He said, his voice laced with worry.
"Kellin, i-it's back. My c-c-cancer is back."
